    Good ferret dogs are worth there wieght in gold. Prob easier to find a 100% fox or deer type than a good ferreter Main thing it must do is kill a ferret with as little shaking as possible stops the dog humming ?

    Constrictor knot is how i tie tubes or sqaure but tbh I sometimes pull out an old catty for a laugh but nothing touches some of the bands about these days.

    Run committed dogs around the woods brought up with or not your gonna get some bad knocks.its all i done for abit was dropping stuff left right n centre still do it now and again but a good dog in the woods probably aint what im after for lamping.

    Like i say mate can only say what i seen that deerhound didnt bring anything for me and how i like dogs to be. Ive personally found the wheatens abit overrated aswell but seen couple pf half x bitches id prob have a messabout with but you knew this one could allways be there last type thing.     I found they got overheated quickly. Wich made them look worse than they were even the shortcoated types. Make a meal of things that should of been bashed and done. Like anything bet there odd gooduns about but i cant say ive seen one i thought was better than straight bull greyhound.

    Some them kickups do ok i find sometimes slipping on distant hares the hares bit more relaxed n that dog gets close before hare relises whats happening best run i seen winter just gone jumped up under dogs nose seen same dog kill soft hares in couple bends. Theres no rhyme or reason to hares just get out all winter long youll get shit average and decent ones i know a stretch of land the top bit of this lamds are some of the softest about they just go over in seconds you could make a dog look a champ go down the bottom off this same stretch of ground there a much better hare and do

    I dont think youll beat swimming for a spaniel this time of year. Or taken to a spot with plenty of rabbits but can emd in tears in the heat if your not careful.
