    Id be pretty upset if my bushers was chasing lurchers and not getting where the lurchers cant lol. To be honest ive found at night things out further so can teach em to stay in open rather than busting cover as they should

    I could only name one liabilty to be fair but its quite often very good dogs will have traits a little knock wont take out of em.sometimes its human aggression see this alot in coursing dogs but some bull x too some are bad to kennel bad travellers ect one i really dont like is any sort of dog aggression if a certain line or type was known for bieng fighters id avoid same as any other trait if they known for it and u dont like it steer clear

    Its probably not best ideas to go into this on a forum but ill try to explain as best i can. Its not really about gameness or hardness once youve seen real good commitment out of a dog whether its a spaniel terrier lurcher or shepherd its hard to look at dogs not as comitted the same. I admire a good digging terrier but i dont own them now but i do keep a bushing type terrier im sure digging men would think what i keep are junk and although i admire a digging dog its no good to me i wouldnt take the best in the world for a gift. So i keep a less hassle type that i have more sport with i think

    Personally thats why i go out. I like the sensible clever types but i do like seeing a dog thats got that drive to hang on hang in there type of thing

    Dont get me wrong wouldnt say never in style he killed some good hares tracked lots and lots of good roe i think if i hadnt run his granny out of him on deer woulda made a real good hare dog fields or fen. But i took him to the forest and also tracking sika and fallow thats when the style went out the window but he tried hes best when he could ya know.

    Think alot of people keep a lurcher as a type of pet wich is fine but the trouble starts is when they talk like they dont keep pets. Ive got a terrier here thats like our pet if he jacked on something tomorrow id probably still keep the dog whereas the lurchers have only got to be killing in next fields for me to start doubting them and thinking do they want it ect. Sometimes its maybe asking abit too much but lurchers are alot off aggro i put alot of effort in if im doing that i want to own something atleast omce that i can say yeah good animal.

    My old stripe dog never took a white hare or red deer but took everything else not saying he done the lot in style but hed find a way of hanging in there.coursing bitch to a lamper dog.

    U can get them little tractive gps that work with a smart phone there hamdy enough no need for big collars then.

    They get themselves lost mow amd then the terriers. My dogs wierd hell give a few yaps if he cant work out how to get back to ya but have lost him few times. dont keep the deer old dog a lead bird just buy a little gps or bell for him.

    Youd think with everyone having a sensible camera on there phone these days someone somewhere wouldve bumped into one. Seen boar wallabies funny types of deer parakeets otters where they meant to be rare or none there. Do find it interesting tho.

    My old Brindle dog was lamper x courser had myself some very good sport with him lamping and daytime didnt do everything asked of him in Style but find a way of getting it done and hanging in there. Id have another in a shot for bashing on this and that.
