I had one mali from a pup genuinly thought alot of the dog dog knew when he could f**k about and when he couldnt took him everywhere as a pup alot of them aint good guards but switched on protection/patrol types they are just dogs at the end of the day they funny ways are easily managed with a tug toy or tennis ball once you have that focus youll never see anything else quite like it. Id ay once youve got em they prob easier than alot of dogs few of my pals got em that are mainly pets now and apart from wierd habits like chasing flies or barking at birds n that there just like normal dogs mayb

Dogs pulling of stuff they know they can’t catch. Good or bad?

Cant compare two the same but ive a dog here around 5 been very lucky to make that age id say im out every week sometimes i get upto other things but usually will just walk over the fields where i live and find a couple runs to keep the dogs quiet if i dont do anything else. about 4 or 5 is what i get out of a dog with abit of luck. -

When i put what i origannly put i mean a dog refusing to run something because its close to cover or a dog behind something and qaurry pulls to a wood and dog pulls up and comes away with still abit to go. Alot of dogs can be made stale and theyll do this but the real gooduns wont no matter what stick you give them. Thats what i meant not a dog bot bieng able to get to what hes after or losing it in cover that type of thing. -
Whats good tube/sqaure to use these days ? Fancy melting some lead and getting out with one of mine now

No i slip on what i want.90 % of the time if im lamping alone dog works without a lead of any sort. Dogs get injured but is what it is i do abit of lamping in woods for certain things done a whole season hunting forestry with a tracker round the dogs neck had plenty of sport your kidding yaself if you say your happy a dog says no to certain things because it means he wont get injured. -
Well done feller what ya shooting 10mm lead
-
Good catties got a load myself made by a different feller.seen some unbelievable shots with them.

100% spot on thats where the trouble starts ive done it myself gone n picked up pups that was meant to be out of right good hard working stuff then when u see things u dont like the kennel blindness creeps in. Not everyone mind but a few about like that -

Exactly it doesnt. It might say no to something sat off a wood but u know it will panic and come off the cover. Id rather a dog do so much then flat out jack than be picky about what it tries for. -

A dog pretty much jacking is not for me. If i put the lamp on something i want a dog to try not think ah bit hard find me an easier one.some could say its handler error though overunning a dog on silly things either way its not something id tolerate. -
Thats it. Think it also tells ya the sort of running someone does when they say thats the type they keep doesnt it.
-
Its a type. Like a cocker terrier bushing type or grew is a whippet greyhound type. If a crossbred type works the type tends to get a name. I dont think theres anything special about them to most. Most ive seen deffo dont pull off of stuff they know is gonna get away and that like some dogs we know of lol
-
Touch of that bull would go along way in them coursing types. Look at buddy ?
-
Perhaps coz they was never good enough to be known as a type
