    oh and don't buy second hand barrel traps , they are probably up for sale as the springs have weakened with use. Buy once the best you can and only cry once, (at the price not cause you've bought sh1te).

    Yes totally agree quarter and half covers everything put them in don't change them and they will serve you well . If you start to change chokes for different situations you will blame the wrong choke if you miss!!!!

    If you use the Knes break back trap in a tamper proof box it will catch the mice as well as the rats, peanut butter then , works a treat. Oh and don't lick your fingers afterwards .

    I love it when they agree a price , then ask for a discount if you clear the moles up quickly. Had a great one yesterday the customer phoned up and said" the moles should be easy to catch all the mole hills are in line"...............

    Spoke to a rep about cimetrol yesterday , looks like we will be getting a new product , possibly called cimetrol extra. On the bright side he also said in September there will be big discounts on stocks of cimetrol, although you only have until February to use it up , .

    Nice to hear mate , well done , a great change to hear of someone actively looking for land and being successful rather than people just coming on this forum asking for it. I must agree its ok to shoot dressed like Rambo , but not so good to ask at someones front door dressed to kill.

    Hi I've been reading this with some interest as after 30+ years I find it time and time again. most people either try themselves or get a professional in and then try to copy what the've done . there Really is no substitute for experience and time spent in the field. Having said all that after being charged all that I can understand you wanting to have ago yourself, but I also think that pest controllers here in the uk , myself included vastly undercharge for our time served experience.     I'm in need of some new rabbit drop boxes , have a job to do at a school playing field while the summer , holidays are on . My leader boxes are past their best , so i am going to invest in a couple of new ones , but unsure as to wether i get some new leaders , killgerms fibreglass ones or has anyone a sugestion ?

    Well i'm £45 for wasps , which I believe is what I need to cover my expenses , plus if for some reason I get called back if the nest is still active, I do not re-charge . I'm glad you brought up rat/mice prices I was turned down by a customer who said I was too cheap as she had phoned someone else who quoted £195 for three visits , not call out and then three , but just three. Now do I put my prices up drastically or as I think was this just a silly , one off.
