    Ouch! I'd be more worried about being off work though,probably because I hardly get out at the minute so wouldn't exactly be missing much shooting!!

    Must of been nice enough to see and hear the other wildlife around you,not getting a pigeon will soon be forgotten when those rabbits are prepared...

    That's a fair session though for a short time,could be a bigger bag if you hit the misses,but its good to get out and get a few shots off...

    Best be safe than sorry,bit of an inconvenience but at least you'll have peace of mind and know the scope is ok,could have been faulty and slipped through the net,one of those things but why have the worry??

    The only gamo rifle I've used had a jubilee clip round it to hold the action in the stock! It was an old knock around that my mates dad used to shoot targets in the garden,not really a fair view and probably irrelevant as one bad one isn't necessarily the standard but thought I'd mention it,anyway I agree with the advice so far,buy a hw/aa or other top end and don't look back...

    That's a few warrens to go at when they come back to them and should give some good sport,things like the rabbit disappearing in the bush give us something to talk about for some time,while always wondering where it could of gone...

    Squirrel are a good quarry,always have to be on form to get good numbers I think,well done.

    Blanking is a wounder,you got a shot off though so could of had one,but getting back out and bagging something is the best cure for blanking!!

    Not been ratting for a few years now but have some great memories from some great nights,definitely good sport and worth a pop if you can.
