    My shooting buddy had a tx200hc and I had a hw97k,both in .22,we used them a lot for a good few years and neither was anything less than fantastic,they are top drawer and I honestly couldn't say if one is better then the other,have a hold/shot conversation and cuddle with both and answer the question for yourself is my advice...

    I look on there site a bit and does look a good outfit,I am working toward getting a springer again and there are so many good ones to choose from it makes my head spin!do you have a preference out of your three? Or is that a too hard to say sort of question?

    What will come of the perm once the house is rebuilt,do you know yet if you can keep the shooting permission there or is this a short term thing? Be a shame to lose a good perm but I suppose you make the most of it then move on if need be?

    Today's sun has a story of a man named Stephen whinfrey that has apparently suffocated while digging to a rabbit,he was ferreting alone and his stuff was at his side and he was found the next morning,just wondered how true or accurate the story is and if anyone knows anymore?? If its as portrayed then its a tragedy and I feel for all involved...

Sorry for hijacking the thread airborne/mike,a while back an enthusiastic young lad appeared who was promptly shot down for a,attempting to teach those more learned to suck eggs and b,giving inaccurate advice(trying to be diplomatic here lads and not start another 4 pager!)an offer of a second first impression was made on his behalf by a respected member and all seemed well again,then he just disappeared without trace?
