Purely hypothetically, I'd pick the Mogg or Farage. Of the experienced parliamentarians, I'd pick my own MP, Peter Bone. In the real world, the likely contenders are all a useless shower of 5hit, so I can't see it would make much difference who succeeds her.......... .........as long as it's NOT Comrade Corbyn !

I reckon the EU want this over and done with as quickly as possible, while discouraging any further dissent, so they won't negotiate any further and they certainly won't give any more ground than they already have. There's huge, and growing, problems with the Italian economy. Continuing problems in the Greek economy. The politics of Poland and Hungary are moving ever to the right -Viktor Orban was actually sanctioned, for defying their edicts !! I think that's been Mrs May's biggest mistake. She's spent all her time negotiating with her own party ! It's being rumoured that the DUP are considering withdrawing their support from the government. If that happens, surely Mrs May will become a former PM ?

20 Tory MPs have publicly issued statements of no confidence. The Whips office has cancelled all engagements, and recalled all the Tory whips to London, and they say a leadership challenge is now "likely"............ ...........looks like the clock is ticking for the Maybot ?

Well, she hasn't gone and seems determined to plough onwards. It's seems that getting the deal through parliament is mathematically impossible, but the EU have said this is the only deal on the table. To my mind, that leaves her no way forward and nowhere to go. Is a leadership challenge now inevitable ? And, if it is, should she even contest it ?
