Anyone's kids still get milk at school ? I had it in tiny glass bottles (1/3rd of a pint ?), and later, my kids had it in small cartons. My late dad's last job was as a school caretaker..........all the surplus milk found its way into our kitchen !

I once had an order for 45 pints, so I knocked on the door to check it was right. A woman answered and said "Yes it's right. Milk baths are good for the skin." I said "Do you want it pasteurised ?" She said "No, just enough to cover my tits !" (I'll get my coat.)

I can answer one of your questions............ I used to work for a firm that did deliveries both to shop and to doorsteps. The milk arrived on the same lorries, from the same processing plant, so the freshness is the same. Mind you, I have wondered if it tastes different out of a glass bottle..........a bit like tea tasting different out of a china cup ? There's still doorsteps deliveries here, (he comes clinking up our road at stupid o'clock), which is a vital service to the elderly and housebound, when the nearest shop is 2 miles away.

You might get lucky and get the odd days shooting by asking around, but you should be making efforts to secure your own permissions. That way, you can shoot whenever you want to. The first one is always hardest to get, but will usually lead to others. Get out and about, knock on doors and get meeting people - farmers, tenants, allotment groups and golf courses are all good starting points. Get some business cards made up and leave one with everyone who refuses............and there will be a lot of refusals ! Good luck, mate, and welcome ! -

I'm an unofficial assistant keeper and I can tell you that we have several guns who haven't attended a single work day, in the three years I've been involved. Two or three attend fairly regularly but, for the most part, it's left to the keeper, me and a couple of enthusiastic beaters to do what needs doing. Your best bet, as has been said, is to find out if other guns have contributed the same (or less !) than you have, and if so, there's your defence ! If still no joy, demand your money back.........

I never understood why that was ever an issue ! If the police decide on a policy of stop and search, due to high knife crime in an area with a high non-white population, it stands to reason that most of the people stopped and searched are going to be non-whites ! It's not racism, it's simple maths !

That would be true if the Maybot actually supported Leave ! She is stalling for time, while she tries to come up with an idea that pleases all wings of her party. I also think the EU is doing it's fair share of time wasting, while they try to stabilise their crumbling empire. The sooner the whole corrupt, 'jobs for the boys' institution collapses, the better !

I cross-Googled, and Tomo is correct. I found them for sale for as little as 60 quid, but ArsePCA is discouraging their ownership, just for that reason !
