30 years ago a bloke in Ormskirk had one direct off Mick Douglas. Fecking beautiful thing it was and he killed enough hares with it to confirm it was a very handy dog. I first spoke to him one early morning on my way to work, as he walked the dog home, trying to hide a hare in his coat.
Used to talk with John Bromley, the coursing greyhound trainer, years ago. His stud dog Issac was bred down from old Norfolk lines.
