I'd love to take on a rescue but for a lurcher i just couldn't take the risk. The young couple nextdoor to me got themselves a real beauty of a Saluki bred lurcher out of a rescue centre gor a pet last year. Thankfully they ain't snowflakes and the bitch can kill for fun and she does too! I'd own her in a heartbeat.

No hard rules for me Ray, just guidlines... First off, i'll always prefer a bitch but my last lurcher was a dog... Then the cross would always depend on what i would like it to catch. No point running quarry just to excercise it. I've never been kennel blind and every cross and type is of interest to me, its just a case of matching type to quarry. Brought on right, every lurcher will catch sommat and there are plenty of accidents and rescues that are serious at their game but if i'm gonna start from scratch with a puppy, then i want something out of well worked parents and

To be honest thats what i buy. Lidl and Aldi do packs of 12 wings for around £1.50. I just split em an freeze in two's. Ideal chucked on kibble.

Gnash, those type of companies can be expensive but you'll find plenty of less commercial raw feed companies local i'll bet. Local to me there are loads on the Facebook marketing pages and plenty of those deliver too.

Everyone seems to be doin cartwheels about Gangs of London... I'm watching it, on episode 8 from last night BUT although the drama is keeping me watching, the plot is fecking ridiculous and the cast is f***ing shite...!!

My guerrilla gardening patch is doin ok... Though i think i've lost most my peas to the dust bathers that hang around. Just got runner beans to go in, butternut squash and pumpkins to go just outside.

I think that is the general consensus around here, as i don't really see biker 'gangs' like Angels and Outlaws. They remind me of the Black Widows in the Every Which Way films ? Plenty of bikers, one of the local pubs The Scotch Piper Inn, has a biker night every Wednesday, hundreds turn up. Last time i seen a biker gang was when i used to go to the Ink & Iron shows in Aston, 25 years ago! I would still love an old school bobber bike though ? BUT the Mrs said i'd look like i was having a mid life crisis..! ??

Feck burying dogs in em. I expect to get at least 3 dogs out of one collar..!! ? Nope, SS does not make or sell collars or anything else, for anyone else. You can find him on his website or FB page. Whatever size your lurcher, his tapered lurcher collars will do the job and are better suited for lurcher work. They look much better on lurchers than those dirty big bull collars and are every bit as tough. ?

Bought a decent (i've been told) bike about 7 years ago, off a really keen mountain biking kid, who was upgrading. It's a Merlin, with Rock-Shock forks and to be fair it's took some stick local. I bought it with exploring my rural neighbourhood in mind, alongside some stealth lamping. Which if you ain't done it, is bloody good fun. It's surprising how less spooked critters are when your on a bike and its a damn sight faster to be clear of the fields you've just had a shine on! Thing is, i've always thought the frame is a bit small for me. I find the ride is uncomfortable on both my b
