  2. What a cracker Pud, i love the fact that you just fancied one as a ratter and went for it. ? Keep us posted...
  3. I'd recon that would be about right mate. Mine was good as gold but then he was always working. Back when i owned mine and had a massive interest in the breed, i knew of almost every BT in about half of the city. Most of them, including my dogs half brother, had bitten someone in the household. There was a lady that lived down our street who had one, they had it for most of my life but i never seen it. The street i grew up in, was a typical terraced street of small two up two down houses. This lady, Mrs Crutson, always looked out of place living there. A slim, sexless shrew
  4. My dog Bosun, about 1985. Loved this dog, he had a really good nose, was an ok ratter and good at the end of a dig, he wasn't afraid of the dark nor anything in front of him..!! I did a lot with him but only because i was mad keen and he was what i had available. Sommat about the breed though, that aint quite right... Would i recommend one as a worker, or own another, not on your nelly.
  5. Finally got round to watching The Sisters Brothers. It's a dark western, not the conventional type of film of that genre. Well acted with interesting characters but a bit hard on horses...! I enjoyed it.
  6. Nice bit of film there FD good bit of sport that. That lurcher wasn't fussed on the job though...
  7. Don't like em, can see too much border terrier blood... ? Some fine lurchers... ??

  9. Got an issue in my little Home Bargain 'greenhouse' though... Think its called leafcurl. Its affecting some of my tom's but not all, some of my chilli's but not all. Its only on the upper leaves and dosen't seem to affect the plant, anyone know anymore?
  10. My little guerilla gardening (not my land) patch is doing ok thus far... Had some early carrots (to thin em), broad beans and cabbage. Recon early spuds are ready too. Would have liked a bit more variety but things couldn't be helped this year. Hopefully my runner beans, dwarf french, beetroot, butternut and pumpkins go ok.
  11. Thats great Gem, keep us posted ?
  12. 42 for my first, she's 11 now... A perfect age for me. Congratulations, embrace it. Cars and other material shite will mean nothing when your eighty but your children (and grandchildren) will be everything...
  13. Diana met Hewitt after Harry was born...
  14. Don't worry Gnash, i've got broken glass and razor wire to go on it yet... ?
  15. Yer, guttering may be needed Sid. Both are on plastic feet, so no wood is touching the concrete.
