  1. Great watch Sirblessed, enjoyed that ??
  2. Rudeboy1 - Can you please give ALL your posts propper titles that relate to the subject matter. If there are any further posts with just your name, or any variations of your name on them, you will be gone, along with any variations of yourself that crop up later. Thank you
  3. These things are fast becoming every cities 'must haves' ?
  4. 64 with one dog, back in about 1991. Though took 30 rabbits three times in the same week, from the same speck, with the same dog. Funnily enough, that dog was one of those no wind half cross bull bloods... ?
  5. Lovely, but that'd be winter grub for me...
  6. We're all curry fans in this house. Currys can be eaten any night of the week here, it's our 'go too' comfort grub. We make our own curries, sometimes with jars ( that we funk up with spices) or when making our own, we do from scratch. Of late i've been doing a few that the woman who ownes Mowgli Street Food restaurants, Nisha Katona, does. If anyone has had the pleasure of eating in a Mowgli, they are fantastic and her dishes to make at home are too! The one i've screenshot below is a cracker, you can make it hotter if you like it that way. Oh and don't worry about the ginger o
  7. Half & half... Just in the kennels at night and if we are at work. As i post this they are at my feet.
  8. I'm allergic to dogs, have been all my life, or for as long as i can rember. Need to wash my hands after touching any dog before i can touch my face (god help me if i rub my eyes!) Same with the underside of my bare arms touching dog fur or dog saliva, they will come up almost instantly in rashes. I develope a semi immunity to my own dogs and can stroke and be around them with bare arms. And its got better as i've got older. I love dogs and hunting enough not to let it change my life, rather adapt the way i handle dogs and my awareness of dogs around me.
  9. So many litters bred and so many puppies sold since covid hit. Many going to very unsuitable homes. Of course there's going to be a huge fallout to the rescue centres this year and next, as people go back into work and can go abroard now. It'll be a buyers market in them rescue homes and the online selling sites soon enough...
  10. I never use a smoker and ferret combination on the same day. In general i use a smoker, which with a heavy mix will kill most rats that dont bolt and i wouldn't have ferrets anywhere near them holes for a week at least, there's no point anyway. Ferrets i like to save for a quieter, more traditional days ratting.
  11. A mate had a 3/4 bred 35 years ago that loved em. Little Blue looked like a purebred whippet but really got the bug for them foxes but he was what my mate had, the family lurcher and as we hunted more and more foxes, 'ol Blue Boy came with us and got stuck in, he and we had little choice. Fair to say he was far from ideal but he did the job. Granted, when Blue made old bones my mate found sommat a bit bigger to handle things, which i think is only right but that little lad had some heart.
  12. This thought was put in my head a few months ago, when chatting to a mate about what to put over my cocker/bull bitch. I've always thought terrier for a general knock about busher/ratter and was telling him my thoughts on what terrier i'd use. Now this bloke is a digging man but was looking at me with a puzzled look. So i asked him what type he'd use and he just replied, a whippet..! The jury's still out.... ?
  13. I think a dog that knows how to kill it's quarry and has been taken to various types of ground to excercise that knowlage and triumphed, is worth its weight in gold. "He who dares Rodney.." ?
  14. Don't want to ban you nor anyone else mC. You can contribute well but the site can't and wont be used for anything illegal and that was/is why i posted. ?
  15. Right lads, this thread is getting a bit much now. If you coursing boys want to challenge each other, take it to pm, or Facebook, or telephone. This site does not need to be used for that, nor wants to be seen as a platform for anything illegal. Same with personal threats and abuse, if it carrys on i'll pull the threads and more. So please, post by the rules, debate not slate... Thank you ?
  16. No mate, i did offer a few times but he never gave me a straight answer. I think because of what his coursing did for him, his Mrs wouldn't have been too happy if he went. I did take him to the Waterloo cup though, must have been about 1988. He loved that and knew a fair few of the locals and landowners who get free tickets. I remember them talking about his old dogs and those days long gone and knew he was telling me the truth. ?
  17. Decent gear for the price that ? Though you may wanna work on all that 'sweet talk' with the Mrs... ?
  18. Bout the best thing posted on this thread... ?
  19. Must be the opposite to the ones you've seen then... ??
