  1. A breed i've never thought about for Lurcher production Matt. Though it's a breed I don't know much about. I'd betcha if someone trys it they could advertise 'em in the CMW as 'authentic Smithfields' and make a fecking packet..!!
  2. Those pics are stunning Shroob, mixed with the story, they have certainly had an impact on me....
  3. Great write up Vin, enjoyed reading that. I used to do a fair bit of ferreting on the dunes, like Stevie says it is really a case of knowing and picking the right buries, some can stretch forever and be deep as hell. They can be a death trap for ferrets too, with some scary digs in constant caving sand. I've stumbled across plenty of 'lost' ferrets too whilst either lamping there or going for a daytime walk, ferrets that have just gone too far or too deep and youngsters and inexpierienced hunters have simply lost 'em. Find the right spot though Vin and you can have some fun.
  4. I was having the same problems, sussed that light switch thingy after a few weeks of only posting these.. off my keypad... Thing is, it still happens with most posts and over and over I have to hit that button..??? Another one is that my drop down box for my profile at the top right of the tool bar, never fully drops to display my options, I just hit the photo (all that appears!) to bring up my profile, is that right.??
  5. Cheers Johnny, thats the short version, with video.. Anyone liking the song, should seek out the full version...!
  6. You two should do this via pm, who the fecks mp, what the feck are you two banging on about.. So, mp, frozen sperm, Motherwell train station, blood clots, against nature, disrespectful... Are you two throwing ideas together for the next 'Davinchi Code' book...?
  7. what a voice Yep, sommat special there... All should listen....
  8. A dog named Pye was put to his litter sister and produced Dee, Spike, Ice, Clyde and Custard. I seen Dee, Spike Clyde and Ice run and knew 'em for most of their long and well grafted lives. I knew of Custard and she was no worse. All of these dogs were at the top of their game. Only Clyde had a fault and that was he was a jaffa, no biggy in a litter of pure fecking quality!
  9. Err, I really don't think you do On the Drum...! I've seen, owned and bred closer than that and produced the best of dogs from it, so please save the nature lecture. As I put it in my post, it should only be undertaken with maximum thought and I am very sure Moo has done this and those pups will turn out just fine. Asking a bloke to cull his pups...Don't be silly man..!!
  10. The 'only' reason why you would breed brother to sister is because it is the best option, when nothing else will do. You should know everything about each animal and their parents and possibly further back too! Personally, I only see it worthwhile if there are very few breeds in the mix or lines (strains) are very tight. You should breed if you are looking for a direct replica of the parents and are looking for no other ingredients to the mix.

  12. Matt, you are a skilled man indeed. Within this lifetime I will have one off you, until then please keep posting this most interesting topic.
  13. Great to see the old ones gettin some good RnR in the winter sun. Sturdy types Paulus, some necks on 'em. How are they bred?
  14. Hi Jetro, as your over the water, are the Sealyham's any relation to the dogs that Harcolme sorted for a bloke your side off MR & SR's dogs, it was mentioned in one of the old year books if memory serves? Crackin animals by the way. hi bosun 11.they sealyham thats in these dogs came from m.r. tb,j.
  15. Good to hear your dogs back in action Wilf, give him all he can handle for the rest of the season. The bangs & knocks can be far worse than the cuts and tears. Stevie, a similar thing happened with a young bitch I had, what was just a simple bang and tear, went far worse and I lost her, I belive, through the drugs perscribed, something reacted and she shut down.

    dog sh*t

Sad, some of the replys on here , dumping down the street, giving it bagged to bin men, flushing it down the loo... I only have two dogs but i'd both hate and feel a disgrace doing any of those to dispose of the waste. Get a grip and put some hygenic, easy drains in...!
  18. Two great guest speakers right there, I have heard both at talk nights and both were very good. Well done Rother lads for organising a great night, best of luck with it.
  19. Good read Moll, thanks for posting that.
