  1. I honestly think he's the most infuriating politician i can remember, soon as the snivveling little worm opens his gob he sets my teeth on edge. I simply can not get past his drippy nasal plummby gob to hear what he has to say... Horrible horrible horrible...
  2. There really ain't much real wild left in the UK. Perhaps a few less attractive bits of the Caledonion forrest and the odd gloomy valley in North Wales. What people think is wild country very rarely is. If it aint being 'managed' its being roamed over by the rucksack warriors, so there really aint no room for big preditor species and as been said, no one wants to help 'lesser' critters. As much as love this country for its natural beauty, my favorite wild places are those that we used to use and now lay forgotten. Its those tiny specks were the wild things are and not the sterilised countr
  3. As soon as you take a Beddy/Grey on you know your going backwards in hunting?.That question mark at the end... Makes me want one all the more!Remember that long lookin mutt in Plummers 'Rogues' book in the 70's? It was that dogs write-up that made me get on a train as a kid to 'sunny' Wigan in search of that cross... Didn't find any Beddy crosses but found my true vocation... Nostalgia for the cross and its drive, as i get older will spur me on....
  4. One of the two crosses i aim to own before i die. An f1 beddy grey and one of them wooly coursing mutt's... In my dotage, i know i'll have some fun with both of them....!!!
  5. I would probably say a Cairn would be the best of that type. As kids we used to 'borrow' my mates mums Westie to go ratting, as well as his Nans two Yorkies. In fact back then, any mutt that showed half an interest in either hunting or killing was 'borrowed' for a bit of fun...

    Wtf?????

    Now that really IS different...!!
  7. Is one a fag hag Mo..?
  8. Lol What i wanna know is who's the fiend who skins people for a living...!
  9. Like that, the coin in the antler really works. Think it could do woth a bolster though.
  10. ASME IX off here has one that he bred himself. There's a picture of her in his avatar. Nice bitch.
  11. There's a song about that i'm sure...
  12. Border's, never owned one and sadly never will... I betcha they are gonna be the most popular breed on this thred...?
  13. You could only use it in winter AT or you'd be a fecking wasp magnet..!
  14. As has been said, real nice type he is, I do like him.
  15. I think its all about the land your on and the critters your running. Land will always govern the size of beam you need. And remember, if you've been using a Striker or Blitz for a few years, on the same land, scaling down is a nightmare and you'll have waisted your money...
  16. I used to be down London quite a bit a few years ago, for me as a visitor i used to love seeing the ammout of foxes going about their business alongside people in the capital. Even more in the suburbs, though these aint quite so popular with the residents...
  17. THLPatrick has a good honest Deerhoundy dog available. At 6 years old, the dog is about as good as it gets for its type and punches well above its weight. It'll keep you in size, heart and a level head.
  18. Its nothing to do with looks..its about performance.. If they look bad they are going to perform bad. If you ever get a chance look at dogs feet in action on a slow motion film. You will see how complex and what stress they are under.. How ever they perform will be less than if they had good feet, thats certain. But if we are answering this post on how the dogs feet look, we can only assume as to how they perform. From personal expierience i've seen flat feet stand up to everything and good 'lookin' feet smash like bolsa wood. It would also be fair to say that the dog with possibly the worst
  19. Fair play to you Jiggy, you done what you felt is right and i can only agree and admire you for it. Maybe one of our coursing friends is of the same mind as you when your in need. Be a nicer world if that was the case eh...??? Bonny pup too, i hope it does well.
  20. As long as its feet can get it to its quarry for its gob to then kick in, is all that matters....
  21. Although i do agree that any running dog is far better off with great feet, I can honestly say i've seen some crackers with bloody awful feet! This is an old post and without reading all back, i can only hope the dog was took on, made fit and tried, just because feet look bloody awful don't mean they are bloody awful... As Stabba and others have said, this cross can suffer from poor 'lookin' feet but until you've tried em you'll never know how they perform..!
