    I'm not sure what model it is tbh it just said daiwa on it but its got a nice soft tip and action. Getting the remaining laquer off would be a nightmare I'd imagine, I suppose I could leave it in the sun the other side up for a decade its worked on the top

    Nowt its like daylight here, no wind and no crops down. Just had my pup out with the bike for the first time and she dragged me and the other dog for a few mile and is still raring to go the mad fecker

    Big cage, shavings, hay, a pipe and fresh food and water is all a ferret needs imo. If the cage is big enough then more toys etc can be added but they soon get bored of them. People who use blankets etc as bedding do you feed a natural diet or biscuits?

    How many times a day do you feed it? My whippet was the same but a raw diet a couple of times a day was the best I found.

    It's the sentimental value that makes it worth restoring, I can get a brand new daiwa one for less than 40 quid posted but I've had allsorts on this rod over the years and still in use now. Christian is that the one on the trading estate?

    I've got an old daiwa carp rod here that I 'borrowed' off my uncle about 18 years ago, basically I left it under a clear plastic roof at my mums and the laquer is nackered, it could probably do with new eyes too. Is there anywhere I can send it to get fixed up and any idea how much it costs roughly? Cheers, gnipper

    does seem to take an age for the completion of the moult but a first moult longs theres no interuption should take about 8 weeks the quick clean moult is for the better of the bird atb bunnys. Cheers mate, I can't wait to see what these turn out like, I've a linnet x Irish here that's got a very dark red coming through so I'm hoping he's gonna be a cracker. The siskin mules are the youngest and I think they look nice natural coloured but I've been advised to colour them by lads who's opinion I respect so I'll see how they go.

    Some belters there bunnys, in your experience what age would you say a goldie mule should be finished the moult by? I've got linnet, siskin and goldie mules I'm waiting on to colour up now, some are getting there now but seems to be taking an age. Cheers, gnipper

    Only times I'd intentionally work a ferret hungry was if it was killing and moving on in the blink of an eye or if it didn't seem too keen on working just to see if it made a difference.

    I can take it or leave it, always have been able to but if I'm out on the town I'll have too much and probably become a pain in the arse but that's ok coz I'd be too off my tits to care and rarely remember afterwards but there comes a time in most folks lives when they need to grow up. Got better things to spend my cash on now and she's just turned 5
