    I watched it yesterday after reading something on another thread and thought about starting a similar thread. There's been plenty about fell collies and beardies etc but some of them Welsh collies looked handy sorts.

    Get a Spaniel instead.... good temps and great for mooching/bushing carnt beat good springer spaniel There not always the easiest to live with though, no off button! thats true they deff full on type dogs, maybe a border might be better from easier to live with then. and regards money why not get a little x terrier from the local pound be good with your daughter ,and good little mooching dog . Not all borders are calm, I wish they were though

    There's one called the saluki in art, history and sport that was fetching silly money. I sold a copy a few years ago now.

    I know they've not right to pinch them I was just pointing out the fact they wouldn't pinch them sort of dogs. The sort of dogs that are owned by bunny hugging attention seekers on face book.

    When the chalk scare was doing the rounds locally it was old bags with 3 legged mongrels etc that were claiming to be targets. I could understand why they would pinch pedigree bitches and working dogs etc but not clapped out old mutts.

    I've heard of springers drawing etc over the years but I think your right wanting one with a bit of something else in there it increases your chances of a harder mouth and temperament.

    Mine get them regularly and it's never bothered them, I think they vaccinate chickens with a similar vaccine too?

    It needs to be someone with a calming neutral voice no offence to the southerners or Scots but I'd be trying to work out what they were on about rather than watching the programme.
