    I got the ratting permission on a derelict egg farm with a brook running through it a few years back and the guy who lives on site told me the night they turned the electric off on one side ready for demolition the rats all moved in one go and you couldn't see the bridge for them. Ive heard another tale of something similar around the docks at Liverpool, a big squealing plague of rats going down the road.

    I was looking at using them to fasten the clip on with so I'm glad I've gone with that steel split ring. Me and donk at work have tested it's strength and a dog will never shift it.

    Them rabbit vaccines aren't meant to work so I've been told, shame really though as I'd give it a go if the vaccine was available without a vet involved.

    I've never had a dog yet that will leave a piece of vet bed or blanket etc in their kennel and not drag it out in the rain or wreck it. Mine are on rubber matting with some wax paper on top now it's getting a bit cooler at night.

    At 6 year old she might just have decided she's past it either that or she might have learnt not to bother going down empty holes. Did you have another that went in after?

    I might grab some more off him to fill the jar up later.

    It was less than 2 quid which I don't mind as a bit of an experiment. There was no messing around sterilising either I just held the jar over the sink for the overflow when I dropped the eggs in. If they are any good idea might look at doing other stuff and methods in the future.

    Is the sarsons ready spiced pickling vinegar any good? I've been given a load of quail eggs so bought a jar from the supermarket and thrown them straight into it.

    Is it just skim or is there a thick undercoat like sand and cement that's still wet?

    Ive been saying this for years........ a teenager can legally drive a Ferrari around inner city streets possibly causing carnage as he go,s but he is made to pay through the teeth insurance wise for being an obvious risk to society in general........that same teenager can legally own the most dangerous dog he can find with absolutely no dent to his pocket at all. Personally id like to see it taken even further and have restrictions on breeds half the breeds around today are pointless,a dog should be a help and a companion if its just a pet/companion it doesnt need to have many of the traits
