    I'm not sure if graham dexter has his own strain of birds or not but pensom died donkeys years ago and moved over to America years before that so I doubt anyone had kept his strain going tight. If you are happy with the birds that's all that matters though it's you feeding and cleaning them mate.

    Take it to a different vet for a post mortem or maybe just an x-ray would do if it was hit by a car?

    They use the big oil drum sized ones for huskies in America but I don't think they would be able to stretch out very well.

    Now I've got the ferrets in a court with just a sleeping box I thought I'd try them on a piece of vet bed I've got knocking about rather than messing with shavings and straw but within 5 minutes the hob had one of his nails caught in the fleece and was rolling around screaming his head off. I thought they were fighting at first. It might have just been a one off but they're back on straw now, just thought I'd warn anyone thinking of using that type of stuff to keep an eye on them.
