    Ive heard a lot of people say they have greyhounds that dont get hurt and are durable but I wonder how many have had there hounds examined by a boneman lately. When I ran 3/4 grey bulls they got injured all the time.I have a greyhound now and so far its ok but Im careful where I run her.

    What dog do you run....a greyhound? I run a first x collie x greyhound but I used to ran two pure greyhounds up until two years ago one was pts at 12 and the other is in retryment did you run them on arable fields mate or mostly grass?

    I think they are a good idea but I havnt tried them yet. Greyhound kennels usually have or used to have a supply of stale brown bread which is soaked in soup and then broken down by hand basically until you get a nice friable moist crumb that mixes well with minced meat and vegetables that have been cooked or grated raw.

    Have not had good october lamping weather for a few years now. It seems like its always mild and still.Might get windy in the day but crap at night. Roll on some proper weather.

    A lot of pups damage there knees. Usually its the patella. One of mine had the bone chip off with the tendon attached. It took 7 months of kennel confinement before it naturally repaired itself. Trouble is the pup has missed out on learning how to gallop and run. If it happened again I would put the dog down.

    you dont need a quad,just a long pole. Dogs usually behave differently with rags and live animals...Give lurchers a bit more credit,there not robots!!

    what about reporters photograph people all the time without permission? snapping peeps at air ports etc. Are you sure its illegal? Why dont the antis get done? Hunts are not public events.

    we found this with the bull greyhound first cross. One litter to a good game bull produced a storming litter. Very steady temperaments , laid back but very good at their job. The same dog to a different greyhound bitch a few years later produced a litter of sheep killers with not one sensible dog amongst them. two litters from the same matings can be very different.

    Thing is anyone can produce a good F1 from 2 different breeds. Its when you start crossing them back in to make a type that breeds true you need some skills and thats why Hancock dogs are worse than they used to be. Hancocks are farmers and have never been anything but.

    never walk towards coppers and watch where you park. Never admit anything and never make a statement before you have spoken to a brief who will have been told of all the evidence the police have against you. You cannot be tried and sentenced in a gateway or can you? Has it got that bad that the onus of proof is on the accused to prove his innocence. I think not. Every time I venture out to legally hunt I carry my CA card and Clive Reeces number with me. I just want to know what happened when you saw these terrible kennels with dogs lying in there own piss. Did you go and sort the trainer out or did you not say boo to him? Did you advise him to boil his head?
