Theres a lot of shite beddy crosses about atm I think mainly due to them being the in cross again the past few years and selling on internet like aldis baked beans. Whenever a breed or crossbreed is in vogue watchout for the crap being peddled for beer money.

comes with trail?

Do you mean the dog didnt catch or was not able to close the gap between himself and the rabbit? The slowest half cross Ive ever seen was a lightly built collie greyhound but I wouldnt judge all collie/greys on that performance. I could only judge that particular dog.i mean I don't think it would catch anything unless lucky mate. Soon as the rabbit got up on its toes it pulled away dramatically lol I know they ain't rabbit dogs, but shouldn't be like that for a lurcher.Lightly built collie grey, those collie greys are crap...I just so happen to have a light built collie grey myself lol Im

Ive only had one this way bred but it depends on the bull family it comes from. Some very good bulls are built like whippets with big heads. My bitch was very very clever with a very good nose and very agile when bushing. She caught a rabbit first time out lamping...she gave us a lot of pleasure and some good pups. Very trainable but not wise to kennel with a mate when she matured in case an argument broke out. She was around 23"

They WERE great sport for dogs. The Bullxs love them. The good thing is you can have a good hunt in cover and a good run in open and it never ends up miles away with them. It takes a strongish dog to handle a good buck aswell....theyre not for whippets anyway. Your Alsation cross should do ok with them (if the law changes) and they usually have good noses dont they?the alsations or german shepards.

Its a very serious situation mate, but it sounds like happy shopper sweepings to me.Why not go down the twinings route.I did and never looked back.

Thats why they put the GF there but they taste best of all.

The thing that stands out for me about AJ is his bullshit after the Dhillon fight in interview and his total refusal to ever admit or apologise for hitting after the bell which he does in virtually every fight he has. Its funny how before that fight he was going to clean up Britain but now all his fans suddenly want to hold him back for 18 months. I watched Mansour v Breazeale the other night and wondered how Joshua would have fared in that kind of battle? Like many others in britain I got a glimse of the bullshit behind AJ the night with Dhillion Whyte..

White Or Brown Pasta For Dogs
jeemes replied to slipper's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
How much roughly do you allow for each dog if you are using it with meat in place of biscuit or brown bread? -
good luck with them mate.If it were my litter I would be looking hard to pick out the whippet feet and avoid the flats if theres any in there showing. there will be flats because of the bull of course and if not careful could spoil a nice little strain in the future if you dont weed them out. Trouble is they dont always show until the pups a bit older.Thats why now i try to hang on to as many pups as i can for as long as i need to and cull wastage. best of luck and i hope it goes well,it could be a good foundation that.

Thanks very much for the replies. Ive got a few things to try now.

The pee doesnt look dark and shes no discomfort passing it. Ive had dogs with that before but not bitches, but yeah its worth considering.

no it hasnt just started but does seem to crave it at times. You could be right i might have to ration her.
-
its not the diet mate No worries then. I just wondered if he was getting something salty somewhere. I only feed small amount of biscuit or brown bread no added salt. They also get liquid breakfast.

always use filter then flip up when chasing.

its not the diet mate

I have a sapling 13months who drinks a lot of water, but also pees a lot after. fed on stews of meat/veg very moist. the pup shows no simptoms of illness,is not lethargic and got plenty of go. It only weighs about 40lb so not a big raw boned greyhoundy type that i know can drink a lot as pups. Anyone got experience they could pass on? thanks

Good point and I agree apart from possibly greyhounds, although they are undoubtedly faster I dont think they are as sound or sturdy because everything is sacrificed for speed. I agree but I also reckon today's coursing dogs used week in week Out on big flat land are the equivalent of the greys from years ago, after all they both bred for same job before racing come into it thats true

I think you are right to go on what your dogs are telling you. If they look warm and happy thats it,but remember it can go colder some years and a few years ago we had 13below. Two dogs make a great difference but if you lost one and temps plummit then youve got a cold dog. The worst for me is a cold wet dog back from work.Possibly hes lost some blood aswell. He needs a good warm meal and some heat on him in the form of a heat lamp for me because its the nearest thing to the sun warming you through. Ive got bullx dogs with very short coats, and I know when they are feeling the cold because like
