  1. It's 5 months old Jeemes and teething.and you want have zero tolerance and pts.Don't get me wrong I would put an older dog down if I thought it was kid. people.aggressive but at 5 months old ? Obviously I can't see the way the dog is behaving because I'm not there.but if there's was a good hint of aggression being shown by the dog I would come down really hard and put the dog In its place. The pup could be trying to climb the pack order trying to be alpha but it's got to be shown its place in the pack. All the best s.lurcher which ever route you decide to go down. Cheers King. Im assum
  2. Obviously Scottish Lurcher you know the diffrence between puppy mouthing and being bitten because you s tated clearly you have had plenty of dogs/ pups before. If it was me I would put the dog down if I thought the dog had a tendency to bite people. Zero tolerance for me. You can be the patent type or stop the dog doing it somehow but the fact remains the dog can revert to that behavior later in life. I wouldnt question it if it was mine but then its only you who knows what is happening, but if its enough to cause you concern and fear now you could regret it later and its just not worth it espe
  3. FFS its not about the dog sitting down..Its about the dogs ears lying down instead of being pricked. NOTHING TO DO WITH TRAINING.....
  4. Not sure about this black tar stuff. It looks and smells like molasses but according to the ingredients list molasses is last on the list, but I dont know how it works in Australia.labels in Britain have to put the biggest ingredient first.
  5. I wouldnt want to do it for a living, but I do fancy having a go sometime.
  6. All you have to do with dogs really is keep looking at them. When you spend time with them and you look at them, they tell you all you need to know.,if there cold,if they are too hot,fed enough or need more grub or are happy or feeling a bit stiff...if dogs are your thing in life then your eyes are the best tools to doing them right.
  7. Is RAW still on here?
  8. Theres no right way or wrong way as long the dog is comfortable, warm and dry.Out of interest to who use a heat lamp what height is your lamp and have you tested it yourself do you use a heat regulator or thermostat that turns on and off the lamp to keep the kennel to the ideal temperature range. A hot kennel is just as bad as a cold kennel ??? I ajust them with height, You can tell if its a bit warm because the dog moves from the centre of the heat. I agree warm and dry,the method is personal choice. All my dogs are short haired and do not like the cold. It also helps when a dogs injured
  9. I made my dog beds 10inch off the floor and big enough for the dog to stretch out. Plenty of bedding and heat lamp above when its cold like now.I give my dogs the best grub cooked every day,it would be pointless to have all that used up making heat because the dog is cold and wet.Why some folk think they sound tough by admitting they dont know how to keep dogs right whilst they themselves lay in warm beds with duvets and pillows I will never understand.
  10. Think its the beef dripping between the toes the pup is looking at.. atb with her mate, cracking pup.
  11. I can never understand people complaining about what a dogs price tag is without mentioning its background. There is no doubt that there are a lot of shisters out there peddling whippets for money and fame. A lot have a prefix and a website and shed loads of bullshit. Put that lot to one side and do your research mate. Find some good blood that has good stuff going back and then just get your hand in your pocket and pay whatever it costs. A whippet is a serious dog that is capable of astounding feats for its size and could go on to breed you a line lasting generations. All Im saying is dont le
  12. degrading. that should be banned.they'll be wearing burkas next. they could call them barkers.
  13. I used to do a bit of flapping but theres no tracks in the midlands now only coventry, and I dont know how long thats for. Ive thought about applying for a licence but i could only manage 3 or 4 dogs.
  14. was you flapping or licence older?
  15. Try more lemonade in it if I were you.Things are slipping out.
  16. you feed this stuff. Its a herbal liquid, from australia. supposed to do good things to a dog.
  17. plummer books were an example. Lots of words and no pictures. So just fictional He had a few pics of dead foxes with his legendary Merle, dog wasn't bit up like but hey ho.... Yes he also had pics carrying dead foxes back from a hunt with Merle in snow but the bottom of his trousers and school teacher shoes were still dry. A good example of a pictorial lie..
  18. Anyone on here use black tar natural supplement for there running dogs?

  20. We had to stop twice to clear road.Good night though.
  21. Perhaps if you thought a bit more about your own wording you might make more sense, although I think you have just about summed things up in your first five words.
  22. I never mentioned Darcy did I? but I think you know what I meant, you surely cant be that thick..but I know you like to stir it a bit. New name but old tricks eh?
  23. Most of these lads publish themselves mate. As for images you could ask for some action shots off lads on here like Darcy has or you could find someone keen on photography to take pics of yours. You dont need all action shots anyway. Real pictures mean more even if the quality is less. I would rather see pictures included in a book because the event had something to contribute rather than look at photos of events being acted out purely to get pictures for a book...that just smells a bit plastic to me.
