Shock horror boxings a bit twisted. Holy crap next you'll be saying the horses are rigged. I don't rate khan but if he has a grievance maybe talk to the men in charge not stick it on twitter. Twat
You need initial speed in the blood be it from whippet or greyhound there has to be something in their mix to give the acceleration. Saluki blood adds stamina but if you can't put a turn on it before it hits cover then you lose your big ears. So my verdict is yes you need quick blood and the reason hybrids rule is coz they have the best of both.
Like in all walks of life there are some genuine people and some sharkers.
In Witney there's a bloke selling the big issue most weeks. He is a bit of a tubby bloke with trainers newer than mine he looks Iranian at a guess. He jumps up and Down and has the energy to flog a crap magazine. In my book he should stop being a lazy b*****d and get a job. I tell him this most weeks and he laughs and says "why bother". Got a whippet that snapped its leg when 3 months old by crashing into one of the other dogs - my wife got bitten quite badly trying to help her. My first GWP got killed - run over, my first grey x died of a heart problem - the day we took her into the vets for the last time was one of the saddest days of my life. She looked so happy and was wagging her tail - she was only 4.
I am sorry I was trying to be funny but it just wasn't it's a great looking smiley dog and I respect your efforts for saving it. It looks lovely. Sorry again I got out the wrong side of bed
won't point at what? give her time and set up a few situations with a dizzied bird . I have found that using a live pheasant under a tesco basket with a release string works well to set up the situation. Check the scent/ wind is right and work her into the scent cone on a long lead - as she winds the bird - check her and praise her. Once she has had the scent up a her nose a few times they usually twig onto it pretty fast. Once she is stopped, pull the release cord to turn over the basket and the bird should flush. Keep her stood still. this reinforces that her notcing and scenting the bird p
