    What is cruel about putting down unwanted or dangerous dogs? The problem lies in their oversupply and overbreeding not in their destruction. (Don't get me wrong I have very little respect for them as a charity but in this case they are not being cruel - they are removing a problem created by idiots).

    What is the general consensus on Child Benefits? Personally I would scrap them - why should all taxpayers contribute to some of the population to breed? If you can't afford kids then you shouldn't have them. No one pays for me to feed my dogs so why should i pay for other people to feed their offspring?

    I think this is a good budget in many ways - higher rate before income tax will help, dropping the 50p tax rate will actually retain wealth in the country rather than see so much of it going offshore and will attract big business to stay - don't forget that people who earn meag bucks are spending mega bucks in this country - they pay tax on everything the same as lower wage earners and so are putting more money back into the economy. this is then good for services and manufacturing.     Bin Laden was reportedly behind 9/11 - we got him and his henchmen - everything after that is inexcusable - should have left at that point. if another country invaded the uk - I would be picking them off out my bedroom window too and I have total sympathy for the taliban. this bloke should be hanged in public - at no point is it justifiable to go on a murdering spree..
