Some of the worst parents I know are the well off ones who spoil their kids and just chuck them whatever they want in the same way you throw a dog a bone to keep them quiet and out of their hair.. That may well be the case mate but my betting is a lot of folk use the games consoles (f**k me there's me at the limits of my techno jargon...) as babysitters...get them into their bedrooms so mum and dad can watch the telly in peace or get pissed or stoned or sit on Facebook all all of them at once...in fact I'm convinced of that...before my Mrs decided she'd like to give up a seriously lucrative career and have another couple o kids she worked with youngsters who had emotional, behavioural and emotional needs....all were the product of fekcless fuckwits who who didn't give -two-rows-of-sheep

Spot on that.... I've never played 'games' or had any interest in doing so....nothing against those who have or do...if that's yer bag that's fine by me.... There's playstations and x-boxes and consoles here and they play them...but age appropriate stuff...and it's monitored...none of mine have ever sat all day and done f**k all else...hour or two...fair enough...any longer.... BPR...bang right there mate....wellies on and get 'em out and about...

Here's a couple of pics o the wife's chicks, the big one in the grass is 15 weeks old and stands about 16" tall, it's a hen you can see there is very little comb and it is very pale. The little chick on the straw is only 5 weeks and stands about 6" tall, it's a cockerel, you can see a comb starting to form already and it's quite red! Hope this helps. I would say yours is definitely a hen, but she may not lay until the spring now as there is not enough daylight hours for her to start.

What next in the bed....and you're on the sofa....nah f**k that....if your Mrs is that worried put her and the dog in the yard....she can keep it company there I had a pup that did the shit eating thing - I chose to ignore it and within a fortnight it was fine.....
