    It was a Kune Kune x something mate....dunno for sure....be about 15 months old and at a guess 60kgs....got another 2 to go after this one....won't keep this kind again...too slow growing....want something ready to go at around half that age.... 15 month's is a long wait alright.Did you ever eat suckling pig,nicest thing i've eaten. No, haven't tried suckling pig....got piglets due soon so I might just give it a go....

    I think it would start cooking if the water got above 70 degrees for any length of time....got to keep checking the temperature and cooling it down if need be....and get it scraped as quickly as possible......

    Him.... Yeah, he's hanging in a chiller for a few days and my mate will come and cut him up....I will make the sausages and cure some for bacon then I will smoke the cured stuff.... Quite a bit of meat there yeah....not too much fat either...about a half to 3/4 inch....I'll post pics later in the week....

    Yes mate....once he was bled out we gave him a quick wash down with a hose...cleaned him up a bit hosed the mud off his feet etc....I have a large cast iron bath for doing the pigs in...I have a log fire underneath it...and it's heated to somewhere between 60-70 degrees...drop him in the water gently and leave him for around 10 mins then start scraping the hair off....black pig turns white eh....?????     Killed one of our pigs yesterday....just over an hour from start to finish.... He's chillin now.....freezer filled in a few days....

Confused ch I think there would be to many variables with all the breeds in there to get the answer to the question you asked. so you could say the same about lurcher to lurcher x's then because thats what the pups would be lurcher to lurcrher from two good parents So, the question I've been wanting to ask for weeks regarding saluki collie whippet wheaten x foxhound deerhound greyhound bull is basically a waste of time.........     To be honest mate they could be shite lol, they are untried on any ground, ive just let them enjoy growing up, mentally one is almost ready to roll the other isn't,they are 11 1/2 month old and aint the small light framed types that may be fine for a spin or two? The black and tan dog is going to be a big animal,he was nigh on 70lb at 10 month so physically as well as mentally he has some development forthcoming. .my personal preference is to be patient and wait, not saying its the way to go but a couple of months extra waiting aint the end of the world. .     the thing what makes me laugh is I know fully well that if a lad had a young dog he needed to start off ...............he/she preban wouldn't be looking if its this years fox...........if they have squeeled a fox right in .......whever or not its this years or not,.........on the lamp/daytime......that young dog will be slipped .....guaranteed,...........with the adrenalin going and one looking right at you 15 ft away,.....they will slip.... and what I don't get is that this years cubs wont bite.lol...........I can tell you that preban in September a cub bit a hound and it was enough for the
