    Always smile when I read that the dog's toe/wrist/foot is swollen but it's still running okay/normal.....clue would be in the swelling and that would tell me it shouldn't be running....first thing I'd be reaching for is the lead and the last thing I'd be doing is letting it run around....

    Yer she is super iron hard, but brains a beginning to show. Hence If I ever loose her then I lost a good dog and line. Yes she has has one season. You would thInk she has had 2 seasons the way she performs. I wouldn't bother with breeding cause I can get good stuff from the circle I'm in but turns out this bitch looks like its gonna be the best we got in the circle. All my mates want a pup from her and so do I. If the above is the case and you have your own wee 'circle' what the f**k you're asking advice on here is beyond me..... How old are you.... 10 maybe..... Just crack

    Good post,it defies the point of keeping a lurcher paying £50 for a bag of biscuit,it doesn't cost much at all,just a little time and effort to keep a dog in tip top condition and for me part of the enjoyment of keeping dogs I don't understand "it defies the point of keeping a lurcher". Surely we all work our dogs for the enjoyment of working our dogs? Not for the free meals like in days gone by? The catch is just a bonus? No? One accident and a trip to the vets could cost more than a years worth of rabbits and make the whole season pointless from a financial point of view. A
