  6. Seen a non worker walk past my allotment last year, seemed nice type of dog theres couple different sizes isn't there there is. Large and small. The small are like a leggy ESP, I have never seen one work though. The large are GSP sized, in fact they are almost unidentifiable from longhaired german pointers. They are liver and white and large munsterlanders are black and white, though I have seen liver and white Munsterlanders in litters with black and whites. Work wise they tick a lot of boxes for me.
  7. Speak to an independent financial advisor. between them and your accountant, you and your partner should be able to find a tax efficient way of planning for the future.
  8. If I was looking at breeding this "type", and wanting to be different, the large Munsterlander would be an ideal choice. I've seen pures work on shoots, retrieve half hit foxes and hold injured deer. They don't seem as headstrong as the GSP or the GWP, but have more fire than the traditional retriever type.

  10. Nothing better than a photo of a dog mid chase to look back on, but that's just my opinion Your dog does not look to be mid chase in that one you posted. No but you said a camera should never be out when the action is going on. Lurcher work videos and books would be grim if everyone had the same outlook... It's just my opinion on it. Some things should be left to think back on that's all. I don't take any pics when hunting at all, I don't read lurcher books either. Fair enough fella. I know couple of lads who are the same and I respect their wishes when I'm out with them. But when I'm out o
  11. What the fook is P for? Now your confusing me man!! M, P, S and A. Manual, Programme, Shutter and Aperture beat me too it Gaz. In P you can select auto focus points, and have them track a moving object. You can still adjust some of the other parameters if you really want to. Its like using the camera in auto mode, but withe the traction control turned off
  12. Leave it in "P", and hope for the best
  13. sounds like I need to slash out a some virgin coconuts.
  14. the benelli 828u may be worth a look. Break barrel, 6 1/2 pounds. they are an acquired taste and unproven design, as yet. But worth a look.
  15. But the young keepers are showing the old keepers how to produce a lot more grouse than the old keepers fact! And the old keepers knew what held more value than the young keepers. Fact.
  16. we used to bury ours in the garden. When we moved, our lass wanted them to come with us, but try as I might I could not dig them back up. These days they go in the back field, underneath the roe beds. All their collars are on a hook in the barn. And when I go, the collars will be in the box with me.

  23. £800-£1200 off the top of my head. Apparently the most effective way is to transfer to Canada, then Germany, then import from there. Unless your travelling with the animal it could be logistically difficult but I'm sure it could be done if there was a will. I have a courier who could handle the Germany - UK part. I also know people who could assist with the rest. PM me if SERIOUSLY interested, but please don't waste my time with pie in the sky. At least make contact with he breeder first. I would require some cash deposits before I make any arrangements. Cheers for that. I asked s
