  1. Doing ok so far. Great in cover and fairly steady when ferreting. 7 months. Spaniel terrier
  2. 1/4 collie 1/4 malinois Thanks Cracking mate. Would be interested to see how he turns out. ATB with him. Look forward to seeing how he progresses.
  3. Belter of a pup that. Really like the look of him. How much collie in him?
  4. I'm pretty busy up until the end of the season. Happy for you to come down over the summer and we sort something with you next season? Definitely best to let it warm up a bit.
  5. I have fished from 'closed cockpit' kayaks but only because I have been leading trips in them. They don't lend themselves to fishing unless you are confident. Sit on tops are the way forward.
  6. I'm up for that mate. Yep we are both near Exeter.
  7. Good news with the pup Ken. Fingers crossed that Tilly makes a decent recovery. ATB. Geth
  8. As Kev said before he had to throw the tope story at us again...... Depends on your ability, how far, fast you want to paddle. The longer/thinner kayaks will get you there faster, but tend to be more unstable and harder to turn if you need to turn quick. The shorter wider kayaks are stable and quick to turn but can be hard work if you have a fair paddle to a fishing spot. Worth renting one for an hour and trying them out. All kayaks will be pushed about by tide and wind. The longer ones will punch through easier. Inflatables sit high out of the water so wind is a bigger problem. If you a
  9. Doesn't take long at all. Equally important that the ferrets are steady around the dogs too.
  10. With just the bushers by the look of it!
  11. Same here mate. Thanks. Think he's going to do me fine.
  12. no I haven't,they suit me and type cover I work round here, cheers Squab.... is she yapping yet when she's into something? Her brother is doing well. Eats like a horse and is starting to work well with the other dogs. ATB
  13. If the saluki suited you then maybe saluki collie grey?
  14. There's probably a few bullxwhip out there doing the job. If I was looking I would go for a collie x whippet x grey or something along those lines. Would suit for ferreting and should suit most ground for lamping. I have a saluki/collie/grew and he suites me for both. ATB with your search.
  15. That would be the kind of dog I would be looking for in a couple of years. How much collie are you looking for in the stud dog? That might help narrow your search. Hope you find what you are looking for and good luck. ATB
  16. Have sent another PM. Are you still selling the dog?

Ha. Yeah good job. He's a lot different to the rest of the litter. They have thrown more towards the spaniel. ATB
  18. I have the litter brother to squabs pup. He's been going into cover since he hit 4 months. Never pushed him. Like you say he was picking up scent. He's now into everything. I think there is value in getting it out with other bushers and one on one. A great bit of advice I was given......take him out without the lurchers as they need to learn the fun is on the inside and not chasing on the outside. ATB

Nice one squab. She's coming on a treat. I have her litter brother here and he's getting on well too. Good luck with her. Look forward to seeing her progress.
  20. Insulate the kennel mate. Or as said get a lamp. ATB.
  21. Nice dogs mate. Some of the ground up in north Wales is tough. Have a good season. What show did you get the pup from?
  22. Well done lads. Sean.....Kev never lets the truth get in the way of a good story!!
