  1. There's probably a few bullxwhip out there doing the job. If I was looking I would go for a collie x whippet x grey or something along those lines. Would suit for ferreting and should suit most ground for lamping. I have a saluki/collie/grew and he suites me for both. ATB with your search.
  2. That would be the kind of dog I would be looking for in a couple of years. How much collie are you looking for in the stud dog? That might help narrow your search. Hope you find what you are looking for and good luck. ATB
  3. Have sent another PM. Are you still selling the dog?

Ha. Yeah good job. He's a lot different to the rest of the litter. They have thrown more towards the spaniel. ATB
  5. I have the litter brother to squabs pup. He's been going into cover since he hit 4 months. Never pushed him. Like you say he was picking up scent. He's now into everything. I think there is value in getting it out with other bushers and one on one. A great bit of advice I was given......take him out without the lurchers as they need to learn the fun is on the inside and not chasing on the outside. ATB

Nice one squab. She's coming on a treat. I have her litter brother here and he's getting on well too. Good luck with her. Look forward to seeing her progress.
  7. Insulate the kennel mate. Or as said get a lamp. ATB.
  8. Nice dogs mate. Some of the ground up in north Wales is tough. Have a good season. What show did you get the pup from?
  9. Well done lads. Sean.....Kev never lets the truth get in the way of a good story!!
  10. I have a saluki collie grew. 24" TTS. Lamps, ferrets and mooches. Horses for courses but if you are after a lamping dog then you could do a lot worse!!
  11. Pup well and truly settled in now. Hes out every day and just taking it easy at the moment. Knocked a couple of rabbits out the cover already so got high hopes for him. Chuffed with his progress so far. A few lads off here had litter brothers sisters from Lee Green. How they getting on?
  12. Think I have the litter brother here squirrel. He's doing well for such a young dog. Not shy of the cover and has pushed a few bunnies out already.
  13. Cracking weekend. Great bunch of lads. You are welcome down any time. Cheers for doing the write up Kev. Thanks again for the donation to the charity. ATB Geth.

  16. He's 3/8 5/8 terrier spaniel. Mix of spaniels and a mix of terrier/bushing dogs going back a fair bit.
  17. Thanks Phil. Hope you are well mate.
  18. Thanks. Didn't have much of an arsenal anyway. Normally head out with mates bushers and it was bringing my lurcher on no end. Decided it was time to get my own.
  19. Happy charging through the long grass
