  1. Cheers D. Will get you a few beers in
  2. Double trouble! Yeah all good Clive thanks. There's still time to bid!!
  3. Cheers Phil. Was looking for a mate. Call you in a bit.
  4. Cheers D. The post was for Kev as I was putting them on for him. I'm after some though. We can come up with a deal. Will swap for some other kit or some decent dog grub. Think I still have your number so will text.
  5. Went to get some nets fixed the other week at Bridport nets. He's now closed which is a shame as it was fairly local. Can anyone else recommend anywhere? Closer to Exeter the better but travel a lot so could look at other places.
  6. We will be fishing some of the marks over the next couple of weeks. Will put some pictures up and see if we can get the bid any higher!!
  7. Got her set up in front of patio doors so she has full run of yard, I would of prefered to welp her outside but I felt inside was better for pups until there weaned. Got heat lamp and another one for backup if I need them. IMG_2747.JPG Nice tidy set up there mate. ATB with the pups
  8. Smart pup from a cracking litter there storm. ATB with it all. Best time of year to get a pup IMO. Enjoy.
  9. my mates got one 1 x beddy x whippet , and its spot on great little tough dog , my next dog in the future will be this x, ive always wanted a smaller lurcher as ive got older , for bushing/mooching there 1st class These little dogs are class. Great fun and plenty of action.....owner is a bit strange!! One is a 1st cross and he has a pup out of her that is 1/4 beddy 3/4 whippet. There's lads on here with litter brothers and sisters. Bird, I would honestly go for one of these for a mooching dog. The sire is the best 'hunting' dog ive owned, and one of the best ive been out with. Never fec

  11. I get out with sniffer boy off here and his 2 beddy whippets. They ain't shy of getting into the cover, and fast enough to on the outside too if something is bolted! Great fun to get out with they are.
  12. We love the Croc. Can honestly say that it has brought Blue on no end getting out with her. Never a dull moment when she is around!! She's welcome here any time. Have a few pics here of her. Will text them through as it won't let me up load. Long live the croc!!
  13. Ha ideal then. Yep you are in a cracking part of the country up there.
  14. Brilliant mate. It's always worth them being in the front on their first drive home IMO. Must be pretty daunting for a pup to be taken from its mum and chucked in the back of a car for the first time. It's only a bit of spew and that's his first trip of many out the way!! Cracking pup and ATB with it.
  15. Cheers. If you are happy then that's all that matters. A guy I know took on a Hancock dog at about 9 months old. He has turned out to be a really good dog.
  16. Cracking mate. Keep us updated with this one. A cross I will be looking for in a couple of years. Who was the sire? ATB with him.
  17. As soon as I seen that dog I thought it was the spit of yours Kev. Would say the same breeding. Maybe the same litter??
  18. She's a nice pup and certainly has the speed. Thought my dog was pretty quick but she left him standing on our last outing! Looking forward to seeing all of haymins litters progress.
  19. He's looking good mate. I seen these pups at a week old and have been going out with the dam and two of the litter sisters most weeks. Cracking dogs and always plenty going on when we are out! ATB with him.
  20. Having been out with this gang I'm surprised you managed to get any pics! Had a good mooch out with them on Monday. 3 beddy whippets and a couple of bigger lurchers. Great craic.
  21. Yep same as mine. He's earned his rest!!
  22. Yeah I think I expect too much. Suppose they can't be at their best all the time.
  23. Hard to explain. I guess you kind of know that you have a bond. I have always had bitches and I find that I bond better with them. I have a dog now and it's a struggle. Don't know why but it just is. I would put that down to me not him though. He does everything I ask and has had a brilliant first season. By far the most promising dog I have had but I wouldn't say we have bonded. I think it's the sulky saluki in him!! He's growing on me though!!
  24. Another thread ruined!! I am interested in a bushing dog of this make up. Would I pay £300? Yes if it was what I was after. I would be happy to do some extra work to get some cash in if I thought these would do what I wanted. Has anyone who is genuinely interested spoken to this guy? I have and he seemed genuine, offered me to see the dam and sire and show them working. Yes to some people it's a lot of money, including me but, I would be willing to pay it if I could get the extra cash in. I have been looking for a while now and even a cocker X terrier type will cost you a fair bit. Each to the
