  5. Feed him in the back of the car every night,{not before you take him for a ride} but before bed, make sure he is relaxed before you put him in the car, before a journey don't be anxious yourself, then if you follow Gaj1612 's advice all should come well in a short space of time, good luck

  7. The Guy's spending a little time to think of others nothing wrong in that,I am not religious as such, but I would rather have some one speak of concern and worry for Other's than hate, like the muslim's my worry is the water's that deep Imigrant's could sail straight past the port authorities, and tie up outside the dole office, serious though its good to see remnants of the war spirit in some of the communities, they are coming together and prince William and harry helping out the other day, fair play to them lets hope the press leave them to it, and what a S**t Government who take all that t

  12. Its like anything else at the moment, they were very good but I think they have cut back on production costs or something, as you seem to here bad things about them now, I had a pair for about 8 yr they did the three peaks, challenge and plenty of other stuff brilliant boot,as for waterproof they were good without doubt, but good trouser's make the difference as anything going down the legs ends its journey in your boot, mine were high leg too high if I am honest,
  13. I have a Teckel and I like them its a good little honest dog,I brought it on to track deer but it will turn its hand to bushing ratting marking rabbits, and its only main fault is it wont cover ground as quick as the other dogs as in keep up,I have never put her to ground but I think she would go,I know the video showed a multitude of sin's and I didn't watch it all they way through, but the dogs, did work the fox, and to be fair they did the job,I know what good looks like is topical on here and always will be,as it should be, but the dogs are only as good as the guy who produces them, and to c
  14. He will have no problem finding some one there,
  15. One of the best looking little birds in the country in my opinion,I cant help but stand and watch them,
  16. Only because so many people sell themselves and their skills short up there. Believe it or not, I actually get a few farmers trying it on down here. Given the fact that one competitor is charging £16 per mole plus travel expenses, I usually persuade them to use me. The thing is, in the grand scheme of things, £10 per mole isn't actually that much when you compare it to all the other costs in producing grass these days. I've just cleared one large 25 acre field here which was un-mowable before I started. I've taken 32 moles off that field, so it's cost the farmer £320. How much will the
  17. Matt, you will certainly get a argument from the farmers up here if you ask for £10 a mole mate,
  18. Walshie I see your reasoning, and agree with it,but I do agree with whats said above,it is not representative of the population, just a minority of do gooders / wanabee do gooders, with little or no consideration for the traditions that shaped or countryside to what it is,you know the one they say they love,it wasnt allways like that, mate,
  19. I will be leaving most of mine to breed,
  20. Its a touchy subject this,I charge £5 a mole but I dont take anything on too far from home,so travel is not a major issue, and I di it more as a favour to farmers, but if you are travelling and making a living from it, £5 a mole is certainly not enough, and if you are doing it on small farms, alot wont pay anymore than that, its a tough one really MATT the RAT is the man he makes his living from it,and alot could be learned from him,he did pass comment last yr on here about charging for mole work it would be wise to do a search for it,
  21. Just a point is there enough recoil in a rimfire to warrant pillar bedding it ?? The most problems I find with rimfires is trigger pull too stiff
  22. It should be a good yr if the dam rain stays off, there could be plenty of work next season for the dogs,
