  1. im sure he dosent give a fcuk about fergie he,s got no hold on keane as he has over some ref,s at old trafford they lost the game so should except it and move on .his decission might have changed the game but he didnt make the stupid tackle sometime,s the player has to hold his hand,s up an admit he made a mistimed tackle that cost em the match. I don't think Keane gives a fcuk about anyone... he hasn't won many fans as a manager or a pundit... but he was a great player for UTD...... Nani tried to bring the ball down, it wasn't even a challenge, he didn't even know that Arbeloa was the
  2. Not sure if he'll come to UTD mate, don't think Fergie is ready to quit yet.... last night may change that though???..... will Mourinho wait for the job???... at some point he's got to settle at a club.. will he go back to Chelsea in the summer?? Mourinho would love the UTD job of course but I'm not sure everyone would like him there.... especially old Bobby... It wouldn't suprise me to see an old UTD lad get the job.......... definately not Keane.... maybe Ole Gunnar???? I think Fergie woulkd like that....
  3. Considering the support Fergie gave Keane during his career you would expect a little respect, I thought his views on the sending off were said for contreversy, most football fans would say it was harsh, but not good old Keano.... The morning after..... I still think the decision changed the game, it's a shame refs can have such an effect on huge matches like this one...... but.... UTD fell apart for the 10 mins after the decision, they would have trained for every possibility, 10 against 11, 9 against 11.. it's common practice... get behind the ball and defend for 10 mins then start again...
  4. Bad decision changes the game, quality finish from modric, as soon as he came on with alonso and Ronaldo you knew the space they would have would cause problems.... Decisions change games simple as that, the beer ain't as sweet as I'd hoped
  5. Should have scored that half, could rue those misses ( I hope not)... Welbecks playing well, and Giggs is showing all his class... Still goals in this one... I phones in the pub...Ffs .. Lol
  6. No start for Rooney?????? Not sure about that one..
  7. Well lads, I'm going to give in and have a couple of pints with the lads and watch the game..... Not a pint since Christmas and these will be sweet if we win...... Come on UTD......
  8. Think utd will pip it, keeping Ronaldo quiet will obviously be key... But Van Persie and Rooney are a real handful together so we'll get our chances.... So what do you boys reckon on Ronaldo coming back... The media rumours have started..
  9. Very good post socks, confidence is key, I don't mean that horrible cocky arrogant type of confidence, just being secure enough in yourself... For kids sport and decent socialising is so important I reckon, get them in a football, rugby teams down the gym for boxing, girls need hobbys too,Allow them to interact with you and other adults so they have the confidence to talk and have a view.... They will get some form of bullying I'm afraid, it could be just name calling and hopefully no worse.... My young niece was bullied at senior school, she's a lovely girl but lacks confidence, my brother t
  10. Just got to sift through some of the crap and it's a great site I reckon.... There are people on here I'd love to go for a pint with, you just get a sense that they're are some real decent characters with good stories to tell.... Obviously there are some who come accross as nobs, but it's only the Internet it's easy enough to ignore them... I'm not on Facebook or twitter or any other " what you having for tea" type forums, they don't interest me... I've been lucky to meet a couple of top lads off of here and have a couple of good days hunting out, I can't see what's bad about it.... If you
  11. I think your own upbringing can shape a lot of your views/ morals whatever on issues like bullying.... Mine was different for sure, with a dad who made money from his physical presence and violent tendencies, and a mum who could take no more so off we went on a little adventure lol.... But over time they both taught me values and I can honestly say I never bullied anyone weaker than me, I've seen a few shitty things as a kid and an adult ( I'm sure a lot on here have).... There was a girl in a refuge we were in for a bit who was so traumatised by the abuse from her father that she wouldn't lea
  12. Hate bully's and bullying with a vengeance.. Had a bit at a school I went to for a bit but nipped it in the bud, it's funny how most bully's, big mouths etc aren't all they make out to be.... Twice spent a night in the cells for sticking up for people being bullied both times I couldn't help myself I can't stand back and watch people being bullied.... Some muppet in Kentucky after the pub, chucking food in a couple of girls hair then offering a young coloured lad out.... Because he was black.... Unfortunately I was nicked trying to teach him some manners... The young lad turned out to be a 17
  13. Really good read.... Gnasher, not only interesting to read about your times but nice to hear of genuine affection and respect for a man who obviously played a big part in your life.... Lovely sentiment mate..... There's only the odd person who comes along and leaves a lasting impression on your life and maybe changes the way you think, behave or act... As far as Marvellous Marvin is concerned... My first dog was given to me by my mum in the mid 80s I called him Hagler... The first fighter I took an interest in..
  14. Set up a small veg patch a few years back, for me and the kids to mess with, lettuce, tomatoes and strawberries went well first year, but I also put some pumpkins in ( the kids idea) bloody hell it was like triffids taking over the garden... I should've cut them back but I was fascinated to see how far they would go... Bad idea they completely ruined the lawn but we had about 25-30 small to medium pumpkins off of it..... I'm having to get the garden re-turfed because of them...lol We're having a good go this year , the spuds are in ( they were good last year), onion sets and garlick plus t
  15. Good luck with the pup mate, she looks like she's growing nicely
  16. Why do stupid threads like this get so many replies???? Shit I just replied!!!!!
  17. Reintroduction is a tricky area i would think, Everyone is in different situations as far as permission and who else shares your permission.... My point being my main permissions are farmland, the main reason I have them is to help control the rabbit population ( I'm by no means a pest controller or professional by the way lol), I also hunt with 2 other lads who have their own permission and they have the same obligation to the farmers.... It's up to you to look after your land, try to hunt within the season, heavy pregnant does let them go, lay less net towards the end if the season ( give t
  18. Well done mate, the pup will benefit from this handling no doubt, I think everyone enjoys the nights where you put a few more than normal away... But my point was its not the be all and end all, I think sometimes people only think you've had a good night/ day if you've caught loads, I can honestly say I enjoy every night or day out, there's lots of different reasons for nights or days to be memorable and it's not just numbers... This isn't aimed at anyone either it's just my view on it, lads coming into this now seem to be a bit over worried about numbers, catch rates etc.... You've got to enj
  19. Brilliant mate, it's seems its getting rarer to find people who put the time and effort in that's required... First signs of problems get rid and bring in another would appear to be the way... Not only did you have the patience you also had the initiative to find the right training to get the required results for you.. Really well done.. The lad I hunt with has brought his pup on this year the sire was full saluki and he has tested his patience to the max, but the results are starting to come now for him.. He puts hell of a lot of time in and his pup is turning into an all round decent pot
  20. Well one Millet, sound like a good start for her, short trips a few rabbits and keep her keen... Numbers aren't everything anyway, a lot of people seem to forget getting out and enjoying working your dogs is the most important bit everything else is a bonus... Personally ( for what it's worth) I think she's a fine looking dog and an honest post... Nice one mate
  21. I don't think that would go down well with farmers, landowners etc trying to control the numbers.... Rabbits will come back naturally if your not too greedy on your land, some places it doesn't matter how many you take, they come back hard the next year...
  22. Pm's are meant to be private aren't they?? Bad do using them against people in my book... And if people are feeding ammo through pm's to fuel this thread ( whatever it's about) that's shit too... Don't know who the mystery man is and don't care really, just think it's a bit sad all the sly digs etc.... Kennel blindness???? Who cares, enjoy your dogs, feed them, walk them, run them, they've all got foibles they're dogs.... There's better dogs and better dogmen that's life....
  23. I for one hope it is the return of Whin..... Is it????
  24. Cracking pics mate, another hunter coming through the ranks that's what it's all about... The dogs look in great shape too... Atb Kev
