I think this is where sometimes we can be very hypocritical when it suits us......im the first to say to someone " if you dont like it f**k off ".......but theres hundreds of different tv channels these days all we have to do is turn it over if we dont like these characters...........I was at the birthday do of a friend of a friend type of thing in a well known London club years ago......Im not really a clubby sort of person at the best of times and Boy George was there really acting up.....i just couldnt stand it i felt so uncomfortable i got up and walked out rather than make a scene ......i

I think its perfectly understandable to think you had gone wrong somewhere down the line.....my pal is always saying he should of done more " butch " things with him as a kid taken him to sport mucked about with cars etc..............i often say to him your ten times the parent i ever was at least you was there by his side all his life.............and i agree,no matter how you try to " butch " up a kid you cant put in what nature left out...............dont mean to say we have to like it,but we DO have to accept it. No I agree mate it doesn't, but everything is ramped up as far as sex is concerned now, teenage lads watching any porn they can because its so accessible on their phones etc is not healthy in my opinion... I think it can shape their views on sex at a very early age... I think the point of the media sexualising just about everything now is having a huge affect on our kids, my eldest girl is 14, she has an I phone and my wife checks it regularly( for her safety), she's honest with us ( to a degree lol) and most of the boys at her age access hard core porn everyday on there phones, I pods etc... It's a different world, kids expectation of sex now are entirely different to when we would find a smutty mag and take it to the den lol... My friends daughter is gay, she " married " her girlfriend a couple of years back and we were invited to the evening do... Hell I ran in the World Veteran Cross Country Champs when I was 45 , nice to see another runner on here Nice one mate, great dedication... A good mate of mine who works with me is in Spain this week competing in the European athletic masters, he's just one Exeters sports personality of the year because he came third in last years, which was in Iceland... He competes every weekend and trains most days I think he's 43 now, it was his birthday last Friday... Very dedicated man..Edited to say his son was nominated for junior sports personality, he throws the javelin for Exeter Harriers... Ki

Haha nice one lads, all the old tricks... One of my mates dads trained us up until under 15's and he would tell us "when your jumping get your elbows out early", " strikers always back onto the defender make sure you step on their toes" etc, a lot of us lads have played together right up to recently and a group of us were in men's football from under 15's, we'd play Western League on Saturday and U17's on the Sunday.... Cheers lads, I know exactly what my touch will be like lol... I play in midfield and a lot of my game was because I was fit, I trained or played pretty much everyday as a youngster, boxing, 5 a side, football training and sat and sun games, it's funny how long your natural fitness stays with you.. .. But time catches up and you just can't sustain the fitness.... I'm playing for the 2nds on Sat Wilf, it's the club I finished up with and it's one of the nicest places I've played, real good lads and a nice little club house where anything goes lol... It'll be a good craic if nothing else....

Haha your right mate I should, I've played on injuries over the years which doesn't help, played half decent men's football since I was 15, plus it's lack of fitness now... It's time to get training again.. The worst thing though is you just aren't as quick/good and it's frustrating when you can't react...
