For last month or so I've not been able to get out with the lamp, so last night I grabbed the chance for a quick walk out....... was out at 11-30 and home by 1, had a stroll around a couple of large fields to start and quickly had 2 in the bag... then strayed a tiny bit off permission onto a couple of paddocks that always has a few on..... she wasn't at her best and missed more than she caught ( out of practice) but we ended up with 5 and for a quick little look out I was quite pleased....... I've got to sort the ferreting permission in these paddocks, there is a lot of rabbits to get at..

About 6, ferreting and lamping, with my dads best mate ( he was like a 2nd dad to me) was at his house every weekend and as I got older he would pick me up from youth club disco on a Friday night with the lamp, dog and my old clothes and the weekend would begin again... Loads of good memories, when I got my first car would be out all the time, but got into other things and drifted out of it for a good few years... Just didn't have the time for dogs etc... The bug never goes though and love it more than ever again now, take my lad who's seven and my girl comes out on short trips, she's five...

thats fair enough , but i dont stick up for anybody who was someone who achived greatly in any career and become a legend , its up to them to keep there legend status after there career...................i will stick up for my own for the right reasons...................gary glitter was a great singer but because of what he is i couldnt care if he dropped dead tommorrow..........a true legend in my eyes can be in disrepute for activities done in later life..............look at OUR jimmy saville the legendary charity worker..........(just an example) ok gazza cant be compared to peados .......

Alcoholism is medically a disease, but ultimately it's up to you to cure it... Isn't it? I hope he does succeed in his battle, obviously... He was a great player Tufty, but once all these thousands have been spent will it make any difference??? I really hope it does make the difference and he gets well.... Thought Gazza was a great player, and hate to see the state he's in..... But is it right to hold money making appeals for him., players handing over tens of thousands, celebs chucking there money in the pot.... Is Gazza really a worthy charity case? Wouldn't that money be better spent on ill kids? cancer research?...... Lurcher rescue?..... It's alright putting him in the most expensive drying out clinic in the world, if he don't want to stop he wont...
