Nice read there Brimmer and well earned bag, after our big bag a couple of weeks back its been back to earth with a bump... The last few weekends have been hard going... Topped by a trip to Wellington ( around 30 miles from me) case we were told the chap was over run.... Usual story on arrival " I saw one yesterday" was his opening gambit, we caught that one and left tails between our legs.... Better to be out than in though Cheers Kev

Fireman, something is going to be sorted out now, I haven't got the right lads up there at the moment... But next week could be a lot different... That's how I feel you don't touch a mans tools ffs, I've never brought robbed tools, you know it's another mans livelihood.... The ground workers lost their dumpy level and some hilti kit, that's a few bobs worth, I've worked around London a bit but this is the worse place yet.... Started a job in Enfield, north London before Christmas, the lads had just pulled on site went to see the site agent, they come out and someone trying to nick the van, does a runner when he's shouted at.... A couple of days later every lock gets popped on the van when it was in so called secure parking at the hotel, luckily all the tools had been taken out and were in their room ..... Well they succeeded in the end found out today the lock up on site has been broken into, had away a few tools of ours one big evolution saw which ain't cheap...... Robbing b*****ds....

I agree mate, I worked away a lot missed things with my kids because of it, but i would work mon to fri and back for the weekend with the family, the bloke I was talking about had settled here with a 4 year plan to earn as much as he could and go back, he had a wife and kids but decided to work all hours and sacrifice his family time for work...... There are far worse people allowed in our country who offer nothing and take everything they can.... Went to Dundalk to visit my family and I couldn't understand what my cousin was saying... I've ran my own business for Over 16 years , and finding the right labour gets harder and harder... We employ either on the books or sub contract around 20 people... But I always employ British labour, I have worked on huge sites around the country with every nationality under the sun, and there is no doubt the Eastern Europeans are some of the hardest working on them, they do long hours, a ground worker who was on the same site had worked every day for 8 months he was making enough to pay for his house in Poland and go back, you can't knock his work ethic to support his family........... Got to say Gnash that was a quality punt from Giggs lol, he put it where he wanted to that's not luck that's quality ( very much like your own Joe, his 2 crosses were quality delivery) agreed he put faith in Van Persies touch, but Van Persie put faith in Giggs by pulling off the defender to allow him to play the ball... Giggs had a lot of time to pick the pass, and he couldn't of played it any better IMO

Just said on the West Ham thread how good he is, obviously over the last couple of seasons he's proved himself as a great finisher, but to go to a new club, with huge expectation and instantly produce shows what quality he has, the goal today was as good a goal as you'll see, from giggsys ball, his touch then the finish ( with his weak foot lol), brilliant........
