  1. Ole is showing promise over at Molde, but I have reservations about any of Fergies ex players taking over the reigns. Look at the ex players who many thought would make great managers when they retired and took up managing, Keane, Bruce, Robson, Hughes, etc.. Not one of them has been able to prove theirselves at the level required to manage a club like united.. Some have done OK, some have been spectacular failures.. Fair point Malt, but Ole has been mentored at UTD, whilst he was in charge of the reserves and I think Molde was a safe job in that he's a hero there.. He didn't jump into the de
  2. OAP's are treated like shit in this country.... The ones who should get the most respect get none, I couldn't handle how they were spoken to whilst my wife was in hospital, they are talked to like silly children .. Shocking.. My wife who was very ill after her op, had to help one old lady ( Audrey) out of her bed, she was told by the nurse she had to prove she was ready to go home.. Now my wife is in touch with her and has helped her get home help ( she wasn't made aware of what she was entitled to and was paying heavily).... Audrey's over and as bright as a button, a very interesting old la
  3. I'm not sure if Mourhino will end up at Old Trafford... He's not got the backing of the board, but we'll see... Fergie would not be a hindrance to him though, fck me the Russians a hindrance to everyone lol.. As said earlier I think Solskjaer is in the frame, he's been mentored by fergie before moving to Molde and doing well... Possible talk of Ole with Neville as coach and Giggs having a role too... Fergie could oversee this without getting in the way, there'd be no egos to contend with either.. I like Mourinho, he's good for football at least he's interesting..
  4. Fenn is my sons bitch although in my kennels lol...she is coming along grand, doing everything that's been asked of her so far, knocked plenty of bigger gear over even as recent as yesterday..my lad thinks she's gonna make a real un lol..we shall see,she has just gone 12 month so this time next year we will have a good idea if he was right or talking through his arse lol... Cheers mate, I've ran out of likes lol... Good luck with her for next season..
  5. Good pics and tune mate... Nice one... How's Fenn ( i think thats her name lol) came on this season?... She's smart looking..

    Mileage

We pay subbies 35p a mile, if they're on day works but nothing if on a price... Never used to get mileage when I was on the tools 90% of the work was price though..
  7. You've got to take it on the chin... But this is a debate about a crap decision in the biggest UTD game of the season... It won't change anything, and I don't think anyone's crying over it lol As for Keane as a player the man is a legend, most UTD fans would have him high in their list of fave players..... But he talks a lot of shit...
  8. Always support the british teams in Europe... shouted myself hoarse when Liverpool beat AC Milan.................. Mind you wasn't too disapointed to see City drop out early doors
  9. "You big melt" Talking of dicks, why the fcuk is tha Chiles bloke fronting a sporting event as big as last night, Keane might talk a bit of shit but at least he's played the game..... The best ref's you never notice or hear about....
  10. Your right there mate, I questioned Fergie playing Nani and Welbeck last night, but they both had good games ( never question Fergie ), and as usual he was right... Rooney shouldv'e came on in different circumstances, and the bottom line is the ref changed the course of the game..... Real Madrid would have scored any way IMO, but for the 10 mins or so after the sending off, the wheels fell off and we just couldn't recover.....
  11. Fair point Johnny he doesn't owe UTD any respect, they are just former employers...., I just think he knows it wasn't a red card.......FFS it plainly wasn't... but rather than say that he has to go against the grain and rub it in a bit, just my opinion..... at the end of the day he played the game harder than most, and knows what is and is not a bad challenge, if he was managing or playing for UTD last night he would be raging at the decision.. but he wasn't he was a pundit, with his opinion, right or wrong I just don't believe that was his real opinion... more a case of " I'm Roy Keane, and I

  13. First things first LAB need to go to the Gym at 7-30 tonight and pretend he's "working out" until 10 ... with the jinx gone you boys have a chance lol It's a tough one tonight lads, they can't afford to conceed but have to play to win... the ref was shocking last game and with a couple right decisions you never know... as Gnasher said get to half time level or even sneaking a goal then just go for it... Come on Celtic......
  14. im sure he dosent give a fcuk about fergie he,s got no hold on keane as he has over some ref,s at old trafford they lost the game so should except it and move on .his decission might have changed the game but he didnt make the stupid tackle sometime,s the player has to hold his hand,s up an admit he made a mistimed tackle that cost em the match. I don't think Keane gives a fcuk about anyone... he hasn't won many fans as a manager or a pundit... but he was a great player for UTD...... Nani tried to bring the ball down, it wasn't even a challenge, he didn't even know that Arbeloa was the
  15. Not sure if he'll come to UTD mate, don't think Fergie is ready to quit yet.... last night may change that though???..... will Mourinho wait for the job???... at some point he's got to settle at a club.. will he go back to Chelsea in the summer?? Mourinho would love the UTD job of course but I'm not sure everyone would like him there.... especially old Bobby... It wouldn't suprise me to see an old UTD lad get the job.......... definately not Keane.... maybe Ole Gunnar???? I think Fergie woulkd like that....
  16. Considering the support Fergie gave Keane during his career you would expect a little respect, I thought his views on the sending off were said for contreversy, most football fans would say it was harsh, but not good old Keano.... The morning after..... I still think the decision changed the game, it's a shame refs can have such an effect on huge matches like this one...... but.... UTD fell apart for the 10 mins after the decision, they would have trained for every possibility, 10 against 11, 9 against 11.. it's common practice... get behind the ball and defend for 10 mins then start again...
  17. Bad decision changes the game, quality finish from modric, as soon as he came on with alonso and Ronaldo you knew the space they would have would cause problems.... Decisions change games simple as that, the beer ain't as sweet as I'd hoped
  18. Should have scored that half, could rue those misses ( I hope not)... Welbecks playing well, and Giggs is showing all his class... Still goals in this one... I phones in the pub...Ffs .. Lol
  19. No start for Rooney?????? Not sure about that one..
  20. Well lads, I'm going to give in and have a couple of pints with the lads and watch the game..... Not a pint since Christmas and these will be sweet if we win...... Come on UTD......
  21. Think utd will pip it, keeping Ronaldo quiet will obviously be key... But Van Persie and Rooney are a real handful together so we'll get our chances.... So what do you boys reckon on Ronaldo coming back... The media rumours have started..
  22. Very good post socks, confidence is key, I don't mean that horrible cocky arrogant type of confidence, just being secure enough in yourself... For kids sport and decent socialising is so important I reckon, get them in a football, rugby teams down the gym for boxing, girls need hobbys too,Allow them to interact with you and other adults so they have the confidence to talk and have a view.... They will get some form of bullying I'm afraid, it could be just name calling and hopefully no worse.... My young niece was bullied at senior school, she's a lovely girl but lacks confidence, my brother t
  23. Just got to sift through some of the crap and it's a great site I reckon.... There are people on here I'd love to go for a pint with, you just get a sense that they're are some real decent characters with good stories to tell.... Obviously there are some who come accross as nobs, but it's only the Internet it's easy enough to ignore them... I'm not on Facebook or twitter or any other " what you having for tea" type forums, they don't interest me... I've been lucky to meet a couple of top lads off of here and have a couple of good days hunting out, I can't see what's bad about it.... If you
  24. I think your own upbringing can shape a lot of your views/ morals whatever on issues like bullying.... Mine was different for sure, with a dad who made money from his physical presence and violent tendencies, and a mum who could take no more so off we went on a little adventure lol.... But over time they both taught me values and I can honestly say I never bullied anyone weaker than me, I've seen a few shitty things as a kid and an adult ( I'm sure a lot on here have).... There was a girl in a refuge we were in for a bit who was so traumatised by the abuse from her father that she wouldn't lea
