    Had a grey x collie which would jump out of or over anything, escaped from the house a coupe of times out of the bedroom window, was an unbelievable jumper, there was a gate to a field we used to run, it was a big wooden slat type gate at least 6ft she would jump that, she was a bit obsessed with jumping.. Lol It was her undoing though, she was sat in the front of the van one day, with the window part open, she tried to jump out and was hung by her leg, it was quite badly broken..... She was never the same....

    It's even worse when there's sheep fencing, with the hedge growing over the top.... Carefully set run net.... Rabbit hits the net, you jump in to grab it, smash your face on the fence, scratched to shit off the hedge and the rabbit frees the net and runs to freedom... Your left with the piss taking of your mate ringing in your ears as you lay in a heap........ That never happened to me last week.. I promise.... Lol

    Might have got one in Combe Martin myself if all goes well. Farm has just been sold and the new owner isn't sure yet what rabbits are round but was up for it. Left my number but when I'm passing next I will pop in and check. Looking back on it with all the footprints round there must be a fair few about. landowner did say that they havn't seen them but I've counted 63 ish holes across the top hedgerow and looking at maybe 40 spread out in the trees, and that's only on half of the land. A few weekends out there at 2-3 hours a time should bring on the youngsters well. Still impressed that one ma

    Well done on getting out mate, I wouldn't worry too much on the ferrets, they're hardy little things... If they're youngsters a few short trips like that will be great to get them going. I've done a fair bit in North Devon, a mates in Torrington, and we've done a lot of ferreting up there, he says the rabbit numbers are down this year on his permo so we've left it be. Also got a lot of permission in Coombe Martin... Beautiful up there.. All the best Kev

    Yeah young in them now, I've found it's only the first couple of months now ( sept, oct and a bit of November) that you don't find young, come Christmas and onwards most does are carrying down here.... Last outing we had 22 but the majority by far were bucks ( didn't count but probably 15 or so) the does had young in.... This cold snap may have a bearing though and perhaps some will be absorbed...

    It isn't too late however until people's mind set changes to allow the truth to be discussed without having the racist accusation thrown at every turn I'm afraid little can be done. Also whether you are religious or not support the the Christian organisations defend the right of this country to be Christian in its values.     Is it now too late for the government to do any thing?? Whole towns have no go areas with kid after kid being brought up the same way in their close knit, secretive community.... Does our government think leave these areas to "quietly" get on with it.... My father told me at least 20 years ago we will have blood shed on the streets... I tried to argue as I was young and naive... He was right, we send our troops around the world to fight battles when we are soon enough to have it here....     Was getting my ass kicked on Tuesday for a site being behind in Caerphilly, they closed it on Friday cause of the snow..... Ffs we're putting wall panels on... One of my gang foremen was on the phone at 7 in the morning, saying he thought he'd struggle to get home blah blah.... I had a local job for him and he was a bit pissed off he couldn't just get home for Midday.... At my expense.... Health and safety and the excuse to do nothing culture does my head in.... It's any excuse for some lazy b*****ds....
