Brickies seem to have been hit hardest on the rates in recent years, a lot of mates are on less than 100 a day, poor sites, poorly run and shit rates, problem is you kick off and someone comes along and does it, and so the shit rates remain..... But ( around here anyway) there is a lot of work, if your decent your working.... Dealing with main contractors is a ball ache.... 2.5% discount and 5% retention ( which you've got to fight for a year later).... But that's supplying materials and labour... Personally I think your money would be better spent going through all your old invoices, putting the names and addresses on a database and doing a mail shot to them every month.....that and the good old phone just letting them know you have moved.I don't know a single person who looks on line in the first instance for such work, they will always ask mates first.....they only look online for that as a last resort........garages live off word of mouth because no one trusts them if they don't know them or at least someone who they know, knows them. I don't think the ex UTD players mentioned could ever lose the respect of UTD fans ( Solskjaer, Giggs, Neville) they've done too much for the club, but I see what Malt means regards if they are actually the right people for it.... The same as just because I think Keane talks a bit of crap, doesn't mean I forget what a player he was.... But, it could work with the ex players because they would use Fergie..... Ole is showing promise over at Molde, but I have reservations about any of Fergies ex players taking over the reigns. Look at the ex players who many thought would make great managers when they retired and took up managing, Keane, Bruce, Robson, Hughes, etc.. Not one of them has been able to prove theirselves at the level required to manage a club like united.. Some have done OK, some have been spectacular failures.. OAP's are treated like shit in this country.... We pay subbies 35p a mile, if they're on day works but nothing if on a price... Never used to get mileage when I was on the tools 90% of the work was price though..

Your right there mate, I questioned Fergie playing Nani and Welbeck last night, but they both had good games ( never question Fergie ), and as usual he was right... Rooney shouldv'e came on in different circumstances, and the bottom line is the ref changed the course of the game..... Real Madrid would have scored any way IMO, but for the 10 mins or so after the sending off, the wheels fell off and we just couldn't recover.....
