  3. i know they are what they are but they can inherit between 0 and 50 % of any grandparent- theres nearly been an odd pup out in any litter ive seen
  4. reengineered -think you said a lot in just that one word-i honestly think some one out there wants europe to destroy itself in civil war for some reason..Its not today or yesterday that Enoch Powell made his rivers of blood speech ,so its not as if the powers that be were unaware of the consequences of multiculturalism.I wouldnt be a supporter of brevik but i think something like this was inevetible-the far right is rising right accross europe and in the ormer u.s,s.r New World Order anyone ? wouldnt rule it out,not a conspiracy nut or anything-i dont claim to have a clue

  8. http://books.google.ie/books?id=-tAdFbAQqikC&pg=PA89&lpg=PA89&dq=hagedoorn+animal+breeding+1939&source=bl&ots=aY9fR-_vMn&sig=XmNydulIsYsNjMqs0jNeAk5VwE8&hl=en#v=onepage&q=hagedoorn%20animal%20breeding%201939&f=false Theres some good info in that link-its about sheepdogs-but the principles are similar
  9. possibly the ancient people and their dogs lived in places that are under the sea now as the sea rose after the ice age covering evidence of them..Perhaps the people with wheat, domesticated animals, towns etc were gone someplace else and spread out again 5000 years ago.
  10. I kind of agree with you-but because of being a military man/trained killer in a war situation-they would probably argue diminished responsibility for him.
  11. yorkies yould surprise you!!!i i wouldnt rule them out.bitch i dug to for 11 years was out of a yorkie
  12. sounds a bit dodgy allright, from your posts on here ,you come across as a man with a lot of experience with dogs and therefore maybe a target,or a scalp to potential anti types.
  13. they all go back to 4 or 5 dogs in the 40s and 50s.I think my friend got 2 of his glens from the same man(is he a vet?)
  14. fine dogs tango, best of luck with them. How did the airedale x wheaten/hound xs turn out for you?
  15. never seen a terrier that can kill a badger and everyone claiming he has one is a liar get a glen of imaal
  16. saw a k.c regd, show bred wire fox terrier worked about 15 years ago,a very hard and game animal-i think he might have been a one off though as the guy who had him but him over a very good working russell and all the pups were dirt
  17. maybe put her on a chain-ive had one or 2 over the years that had to be on one
  18. if i was looking for top grade digging terriers. i think i would be more than happy if i produced one good dog out of five. good fox bolting terriers i'd be looking for at least 50/50.if not more. and for an all round terrier for pesting. rat rabbit and bolt the odd fox. i would be wanting two out of three to be up to scratch. the qualities needed for a good digging terrier that will work for many years are far more difficult to breed than the latter i m o. so i would have to agree with DEALER. i have seen whole litters work to a reasonable standard. but not a whole litter that are all of a hi
  19. not being smart but the dog will only be 12 months in june so he aint a working dog yet .they are probably talking about rabbits or something id say-ive never seen anyone hunting with one-seen 1 or 2 good lurchers off them
  20. I have been told that Mustard,LOL. Arent all terriers a bit of a pain sometimes? I dont really see another alternative. Pat Yeah, your right.I heard the plummer terrier is a great terrier..... a good one would surprise you john, happy new year to you ,how did your own black lad get on this season
  21. glad to hear you got them back, its gone beyond the joke in this country-theres a lot more being robbed than is up here-a lot of lads i know that wouldnt have a computer etc. have had dogs taken.
  22. an old man from co. tipp gave me a terrier when i was around nine,a fawn prick eared fell type-around a year or so later she ran to ground-after about half an hour or so of trying to get her out by calling her i went home and got a shovel and went back to dig to her and a very dead fox-i was still digging to that bitch the odd time when i was 21.The favourite dog ive ever had-shed jumped in for me when i was in a scrap with my neighbour 1 day,she was dancing around the fight, then she locked onto his groin and started shaking,it turned the fight lol..tiny was her name, tiger was a son out of her
  23. atre them teagles by that strong white russell tha twas at stud on here
  24. ill ask someone for you,i know they have pups but dont know whether they have any available or not
