    I was just wondering where the law stands as regards docking at the moment..A friend has a litter of glen of imaal pups due and he was asking me-i dock my own pups but want to find out what the situation is for a registered breed.

    PITY THAT .HOW MANY TIMES HAS THAT HAPPENED I WONDER .YOU DO THEM THE FAVOUR THEN MONEY FKS THEIR HEAD Money might have nothing to do with it,how many times does an 85 or 90 year old man give aterrier pup to a young lad as a "pet" and the dog goes on to introduce the lad to digging (thats how i got started)=The old man,tom, knew how things would pan out-he was in my grandfathers classin school and they dug together.Never knew exactly what was in the bitch but she never let me down.

    all yorkies are bred off a dog that was a champion in the rat pits-its bound to come out in the odd 1,Ive seen yorkies worked to fox-she was an exception id say-possibly the most evil minded dog ive ever come accross-the terriers i kept as a kid were all bred down off her (there was trialling staff,wire fox terrier,jack russell,glen of imaal in them as well+probably other breeds).Ive a fullbred plummer bitch that im digging to -shes yet to leave a fox alive -maybe i got luckey when i bought her dam or maybe people dont like brian plummers books and think therefore his line of terriers cant be

    walk a lot(more then seems sane)-then add a little running to curb your impatience-dont push it-i smoke and drink but once upon a time i was going places (athletically)-a little every day is better than a marathon now and again.Make a resolution to walk your dogs acertain distance daily-day and night+ a run of a certin distance...increase all 3 as much as is comfortable.If your legs start giving you shit from running then start beating a punch bag instead until they are better.

    I would have to disagree somewhat mate. I must admit that I have strolled through the Deadgame Message board, his website, Booth's website, JJ's website, southern patterdale's site, etc. Every website or messageboard that's associated with Booth is associated with peddling. The deadgame messageboard, in my opinion, was developed for nothing more than to further the peddling of Booth's terriers. Everyone there including the mods approve of, and incourage peddling. I think the mod and the blokes that own it are the biggest shite peddlers in our sport today, imo, or at least their actions and pos

    Exactly,the dog could have ran to ground while been excercised and some little child out there might be missing a much loved pet (speculation -but whats good for the goose...)..Any stray terrier with a mark or two on it must have been used in badger baiting-followed by a load of shite..ffs they dont even seem to need evidence anymore to go printing their crap.

    My experiences and my knowledge is not from hunting dogs, it's from APBTs, but I can't believe that there is a very big difference. Dont fool yourself mate, there is a world of difference in the two. And when you attempt to produce true worker/hunters you will discover this for yourself.     i think ur spot on with alot that uv said fat man, ive seen young lads down my way come into the digging scene lately, some are mouthy little know it alls who want to have good terriers now and will throw away money after money to get one but in reality they wouldnt know a good terrier from a bad un, and because of this they sometimes (thankfully) dont stay in the sport.. Then uv got the lad who want to learn and do right by the sport but sometimes maybe work or studies or a change of lifestyle diverts them away from terriers..
