  1. They can only have one child. so they are going to breed best to best! medal winners, nobel prize winners etc. are allowed to have as many as they want (eugenics)
  2. spot on there gnasher-they also have much more of a cultureof respect obedience to t6heir coaches/country etc-i heard that ma junren (90s womens running coach) used to beat the hole off his athletes with a stick if they were outsde a certain time for a lap in training
  3. not since she was a pup -ill try and take one soon
  4. very like my own bitch-how is it bred
  5. No tt they're near as damn it all ns blood. Thanks dd a friend of mine has a few off him (hairy small little things-he seems happy with them)
  6. The father of my first bitch stayed 28 hours in a very deep place-couldnt be registered as he was tricoloured-i.m.o thats the problem with the breed-other plummer marked dogs (basenjis, king charles spaniels, beagles)also come in tricolour-it may not be worthwhile trying to breed out.If people breed for colour and show points then other qualities are bound to suffer.
  7. would j.powells dogs be of similar breeding?
  8. did the bitch that was put to him recently take at all?
  9. i agree with your post-the best working lurcher ive ever seen(a 3/4 bred collie hound) bred nearly nothing of any use-and he was an outstanding animal

  18. But can the physical benefits not be gained through any type bull terrier ?......are they not too dog aggressive ?..... ive a few here that are a quarter apbt-no real problems with dog aggression-well i wouldnt let them off the lead around strange dogs. The size of them is very variable though -from an 11lb bitch to a dog that id say is 35lb +.The other 3 ive seen lately(all siblings) are a useful sort of size (18-24lb id say). TT do you find some that have not gone to ground as readily as a pure bred terrier? Their mother did no problem-but some of her siblings didnt-they werent
  19. My cousin had a wire fox terrier he used to dig to when we were young fellas,a very ,very hard dog And off pure show breeding-id say theirs still potential in them but he was probably lucky in the dog he got
