  2. i used a patterdale stud from pure enough booth lines over a bitch i had,,im very happy with the pups i kept-im digging to terriers since i was 9 or 10 and there the wildest ive ever had.
  3. At least your still breathing-2 forts were bulldozed a mile up the road from me-5 of the family died within the year(2 swept away while fishing,1 hit and run driver ,and the other 2 of cancer)- i know we supposedly live in un superstitious times ,but noone would go near the farm when it was for sale and it went very cheap-about 20 years ago or so.
  4. They are already doing it over here- A friend of a friend -thats his job....o.k snooping on emails, facebook of "known major criminals" but its a slippery slope till theyre snooping on anyone.
  5. Hit the nail on the head-its a cynical political move to "Please" as many voters as possible ,"well leave hunting, shooting and coursing alone (horse-breeding/greyhound industry) and leave the terrier/lurcher enthusiasts go to fcuk".
  6. You could put a good jack russell over her-its a very good cross
  7. I got my first ever terrier from a man who used to be scarteens terrierman once, she was very slow to start but her son self entered and killed at 5 1/2 months.I dont have any of that breeding now-she threw allsorts in her litters-that son tiger was like a small glen of imaal ,one of his littermates was like a jagd terrier, more of her pups were like parsons.
  8. id say your right there ive seen the same myself-im not begrudging any one a bit of sport but theres people out there who are and they probably read this
  9. I have often not agreed with some of the things ye have said in the passed Speedie, but this statement above you made, i agree with and its true, the irish hare, is nothing like the scottish mountain hare, its far more stronger and bigger. Its a breed on its own. Also, the irish hare, can cross breed with the brown hare, as its mainly happening in the north of Ireland. The Irish hare, is very closely related to the brown. Im fairly certain they cant breed ,i think they are the same as the hares in scotland,im also fairly sure that coursing hares in ireland is illegal except under rules wi

  20. very nice ,best of luck with them, howre they bred
  21. Do Yous mean a Coursing Greyhound instead of a Track Greyhound ? If so nowdays id disagree, Coursing Greyhounds are Far to Big and Heavy (90-100 lbs weight ) Bred for pace in strait lines over 300-400 m Nowdays when using Greyhounds to Influence Lurcher Breeding Best Find a Quality Track Staying Type. Only the odd one is that size-i think the big ones are successful because they get less work behind the hare(cant turn).I have both myself -id say there is a lot more hunting intelligence in coursing greyhounds but track dogs are a lot more honest..There was a black alsation lurch
