    Solid slug are illegal unless you've got a FAC with them listed on there. Not a clue why some people are going off on random tangents either. Go somewhere and either try some different guns that fit or some adjusters on yours. If you shoot better then look into it further , if not just put your hands up n admit your a shite shooter lol, I admitted this long ago but still have a good days shooting on something now n then.     When the dog goes ahead of you or pulls change direction. Turn 180 or 90 degrees. You look like a right prick zig zagging all over the streets but the dog should hopefully see that you choose direction not them. Also stopping every time they go ahead and making them come to heal and sit etc.

    as with most stuff you can get what you pay for Battery life would be a big thing, also some of the good ones self stabilise etc they look really good.

    I've heard spuds are good BUT they can poison the water so if any animals on the land drink it they could die and you'd soon lose your permission so be careful. Barley wheat done the job for me, hard work getting down to feed the pond during daylight whilst working too tho, don't want to disturb them ideally during the night

    Labs tend to come from show lines, the working lined liver coloured ones are few and far between. Show lines are much larger framed and blow up like balloons. People I know who have had both working lined livers and black and yellows said the liver was slowed to come on and generally not as good. If it's just a pet it don't matter all that much mind! Just don't feed it too much and keep it trim and fit

    I've got an old BRNO Model 2 , got the iron sights on still, they're good fun but with the scope on just don't get used. Tempted to cut it down to around 14-16" but think it's a shame to see the irons go ... Any chance you could get the front sight put back on further down ? Will it still work on a 16" barrel ? Lol

    It's the same most places lads, if the lands good people will pay or of been there for years. My first bit of land I was introduced thankfully Recently got a connection for some land in Devon cos I know a family member of them so hoping that comes off for me

    I don't think you can compare people who are already licenced to hold rifles and shotguns applying for 22lr pistols for sporting purposes to terrorists with AK47s who've been trained in Syria going on a rampage! Like saying we should ban remote control plane's after 9/11 ...

    I never did the course but did have a mentor for a good while when I first got my 243. It's good to find a mentor IF YOU CAN FIND SOME ONE WILL ING TO TAKE A NEWBIE OUT! You can learn alot this way and it's great but don't tell the police unless you ask for you to be mentored

    Probably better off booking a stalk and using their rifle mate Due to the odd tosser going on people land and then approaching land owners after etc you'd be lucky to find anyone to take you on any hunting land, let alone on any good land with stalking Sucks for newbies trying to get experience but few bad ones ruin it for everyone

    Just like to thank you for passing on about your success mate, I myself spoke to somebody today and they all were very helpful, have emailed them my details and the scope spec (Mine was the trophy) and they said if they haven't got any they should order me some in! Very happy if they come!!
