  1. Nothing wrong with having a cross bred dog, but its a cocker x lab not some bloody stupid name some bellend has cooked up and slapped a stupid price tag on! Hope you didn't pay a lot for it
  2. For free or for sale ? I've got the Springer spaniel training series (same thing really) but at £100 cost new I doubt you'd find many people just giving em away
  3. I'm sure with the money he was on , affording enough coke to be "whiter than white" wouldn't take too long lol
  4. Sometimes I think it's just criticised cos the Muslims do it I eat meat, I therefore know an animal has got to die. I wouldn't want any extra pain or suffering or inhuman treatment but a knife across the throat is reasonable to me. It's been done for many a year by us and those who came before us. Don't drag it out, don't try to make suffering etc but one slash and hope its over as quick as possible. I've had to do it to a dear I shot and was still breathing. 243 through both lungs, dropped on the spot, couldn't move but still alive. Knife straight into throat and it was over ve
  5. I'm not shy to run a knife across a deer's neck or any other animal I'd eat so won't really criticise it
  6. How do you find the Buttolo ? I'm using one for the first time next weekend down in Bude on a friends farm Hoping to get my first Roe
  7. Where is the best place for putting a high seat ? ATM I have one slightly inside some woodland but want to move it into a more open location. I have three options (For Fallow) 1) A large meadow, it can get quite boggy and is overgrown. The grass is about waist height most places. The ground is too boggy to get a tractor in to cut (Farmer tried before and kept getting stuck). 2) A large opening of bracken. I have seen a few deer stood out amongst this once so they do pass by. ...Not sure if they pass through or bed down here. 3) Just picked up these fields near by. Some large fiel
  8. Cracking work Phil mate what a result! I imagine its very tempting to go give someone like that a slap but obv as upstanding members of the community we'd never do such a thing lol
  9. Dunno how they got those figures when most poor kids it prob happens to don't come forward. See that woman who went round and stabbed that pedo in London ? Got found not guilty of murder , I couldn't believe it when I heard the facts , she deffo had the jury on her side on that one there. She's going down for manslaughter now, probably get more jail time than the pedo she killed had served :/
  10. How'd they go about making that sort of money then ? Feck me I need to get into what they're upto. Paying tax and being told what you can n can't do clearly aint the way to go. So what they likeys n driving about in super cars ffs
  11. Beddy whippet greyhound ? How old are they now mate ?
  12. AI something like that mate. Have you got any pics please ? It wont stop some sort of tooled up super thief but its going to stop a walker trying their luck
  13. Ah mate mind were well off the track and into thick wood. I reckon another hunter pinched it as can't see why anyone else would be where it was. Shame tho, hopefully this one won't suffer the same fate
  14. I had mine on my permission and the farmer and I sat every week and watched the videos of the young fallow fawns playing about. He's odd and loved seeing it, as did I. Then some scum pinched it
  15. Wow, fair play pal if genuine that's a cracking offer. I'd be extremely great full to come out and you show me the ropes as I'm inexperienced and willing to learn. I'll send you a PM and hopefully we can sort something out.
  16. As I have had my previous one pinched, and recently got a new one (thanks to seeing all the members on here rushing out to LIDL & Aldi lol) I was thinking of making or buying some sort of lock box or cable lock to put on the camera, I know it won't stop a prepared thief but it would probably stop the casual walker who takes it anyway. My last one was password protected (as is this one) so the tossers can't even use it. Feel free to post your top tips for game camera security
  17. He has a different battery so I couldn't try that specific part. HOWEVER, My lamp worked fine on his battery, and his lamp would not work on mine, so like I said it's the battery. I would buy a new connector (part 2) but I don't want to buy one if that's not the problem as it would be a waste! Thanks for your input
  18. Anyone had any trouble with their Lithium ion batteries ? Mine's fully charged but kept having problems last night with it suddenly losing power. After testing my lamp on a mates battery etc I'm pretty sure its the battery playing up. I'll try n explain what happened. There is the battery (part 1), then the plug that connect the battery to a cigarette charger style connector(part 2), which the lamp (Part 3) plugs into. Now when it was playing up, I was holding down the button that shows how much power is in the battery (part1) and it had all 5 lights (fully charger) , then as s
  19. I think you've been out with my mate, Joee777 off here pal
  20. I've heard pork is very rich meat as well and can give dogs the runs! I don't find dry food all that great though tbh can't wait to be set up in my own place and get a chest freezer full of bones n raw meats
  21. Why would you want to run any lurcher in forestry surely theres no need....dead dogs or vet bills.... down this way we are not blessed with the amount of game others have !! Got to take your chance never had a injury or dead dog due to woods
  22. Heard some people say this and others defend him. Can you give more info so we can decide ?
  23. Yeah. They are as good as any of the bought ones. Can't agree their H , I tried some a friend bought , some type of aircraft aluminium , fully adjustable and the lightest set of sticks I've ever used ..while the cane ones do the job they don't compare to a precision made set , that's why they cost a small fortune . got to agree with this I made a set of quad sticks as mentioned above to see how I got on with them. once I started using them I ordered a set of Hammond sticks all I can say as with most of the shooting gear you get what you pay for. they are fully adjustable, strong, lightweig
  24. Nice mate, what scope and size target do you use then ? Using a 3-9 X 40 on my 243 at approx 100 I can see I'm on target bit I find it hard to see whether I'm dead centre or on the exact same spot. Any tips ?
  25. I've seen a few sets made from garden canes from B&Q etc, any good lads ?
