There's a few lads on working Bedlington forum. Most of the lurcher pups that come up are often beddy whippets mind. Also in have HEARD of a current litter in neath south Wales atm of beddy greys, apparently good lines (so I am told) but in wouldn't know. Dunno if there are any left but if I wasn't moving into a uni flat next month where I can't have a dog I'd be looking at em -

Just a curious question ... what's a terrier used for bushing for and what advantages does it have over say a spaniel etc Never worked one but have worked a springer. I hear terriers can be headstrong. Would they just feck off n do their own thing or what ? Thanks for any insight

My cousin's boss has got it. He eats like a twat and is killing himself. Was hospitalized a few months back for a week couldnt get out of bed, they were going to remove his bowel and put one of those bags in. He luckily made recovery and ate well for about 2 weeks... now he's back doing what he's doing before. No sympathy I'm afraid, its unfortunate he's got it but when you have the means to help yourself and you just do the exact opposite then your a bit of a prick IMO. So many unfortunate people with diseases they cant do anything about and people like that just pissing away their chance

Been biking my two dogs (lab n spaniel) for last few weeks every other day etc. Just yesterday I got one of those little computers that measures your speed (£7 at Aldi) and was wondering what sort of speed to aim for ? Also what kind of distances are best and how many days a week ? Thanks ?

Thats a cracking offer cheers mate! Like I mentioned though It's not something I am in the position to take up at the moment, so I wouldn't want to waste yours/your friends time. Was just wondering about it etc, unlike gundog work / lurcher work theres not alot of stuff out there to read from what I have found and was just expressing an interest!

Just wondering if anyone here works there dogs for protection work etc ? Not something I am looking to do myself, for a long time atleast, just show an interest in all types of dog work. Have a copy of the book ManStopper here and just dug it out of a big pile I've had on the shelf for a while so thought I'd see if anyone else shares an interest Would love to have a go at the Police dog handler type work except I'd have to join the bloody police then

My spaniel got tagged in the throat about 2 years back! Got her home and throat was up with a lump like a grape fruit! Rushed to the vets and was kept in being given jabs etc!! Was a very happy man when I picked her up the next day safe n sound! She's normally a pain in the arse but I was worried sick!! Lol

I'd put a complaint in personally. Unless we stand up and speak out about the bad service we receive as shooters they continue to get away with it! I wasn't allowed a centrefire / condition for deer. Wanted me to pay £500 odd quid n do the DSC 1. I had to remind them this wasn't a requirement and I had all necessary conditions and would need to speak to my legal team bit of a stickly moment but in the end they dropped the condition. One day I will probally go and do DSC 1 anyways, but when I feel I want to to further my own knowledge, not because they said so!

They are already here. I've heard they are East of Newport in the Gwent area etc, Im just outside Bridgend and we have a few fallow not far, heard reports of Roe being introduced in the Bridgend area n all but not heard of any munties about so far. I have read they spread fairly quick tho so probally only a matter of time, reckon it'd be quite a few years unless somebody drops a load off as has obvs happened where they have isolated pockets in some parts of the country!

be a student pal, probally living in student accommadation first year (possibly uni flats) and then student sharing living after that. Doubt they'd let me stick a cabinet onto a wall... plus you normally have 4-5 other students living in as well so doubt the police would be keen
