My New Saluki Just Imported Him Back What You's Think Lads?
Lloyd90 replied to thomasb's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
How much that cost you ? N how come you got one imported mate ? My Uncle breed's birds of prey out in Dubai and they aint bloody cheap! -
must be fully trained and not just a pup. Surely you could buy a pup for way less after all training your own pup is most of the fun.look them up you'll see what they cost. All well bred gundog be it cockers, labs ,hpr's are all £700 + a pup. You can buy any bred for less but do your homework buy from tested parents. Yes you'll pay more but there's a lot bigger chance them making the grade. They'll be loads cheaper bred by people breeding them for money. I paid £400 for my Lab off a bloke who trialled labs flat out. Her mother was a Field trial award winner but not a champion at the time

I've got the same on my 22 LR but tempted to take it off and swap it over onto my 243. The glass is very clear and I took it lamping rabbits the other week and was very happy with the clarity. I got mine off here second hand for £100 so very pleased. Lovely little scope.

I'm not sure which charger it is mate, plus I can't find it on their site lol. Does anyone know please ?
-
Alright lads, anyone know what charger I need to get as have been away for a while and lost the charger for my Lithium Ion 14AH Battery , its 12V output so assume it needs a 12V charger ? Anyone can advise what one I need and best place to get one ? Cheers lads

Both looking sharp and not too heavy! What's in em aside from collie and whatever running dog you used ?
-
I've got a lab , she's a bit headstrong but I think my family spoiling her n not being strict was a big prob. My mates got a 1st cross lab collie I believe and he's pretty switched on. Seems easy to train as he's quite good on commands and learned a lot more tricks than my lab (and my mates a right moron lol) Whether this will transfer over to a shooting dog , you can only hope. Some people seems to have pretty handy crosses on this site so if you don't need to trial etc I don't think it matters hugely. One of the main benefits from a "pure" is that you can atleast ensure t

Glad you posted, glad your ok mate , and even gladder I got rid of mine a while back. Still got a slot for a 17 HMR on my ticket. Tempted to do a 1 for 1 now. I already have a 243. Would it be worth putting in for a 222 or 223 ?

That's exactly what she did say. There's even a picture of her post. It clearly says " so of your white and a man DO NOT COME. Clearly she is an idiot. I just don't see what this has to do with being 'political correctness gone mad'. Student union officials are normally students who've been 'voted' in. No organisation or official has told her to ban whites or men. She's clearly a numpty who hasn't a clue about diversity and has messed up. As I said , the only stupid thing I see is that they've made her diversity officer when she clearly doesn't even understand the concept.
-
1 person , clearly a numpty , put in charge and made a mistake. Hardly represents the whole of her race etc The stupidest thing I see (aapart from her, cos she's clearly thick as a post) is that it appears they have given her the role of diversity officer, simply because she's is BME. Yet she clearly knows nothing about the job!

The Biggest Mistake Youv Made When Stalking
Lloyd90 replied to nastybilly's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
My 3 from a farm / bit of forest on a farm I wanted to have success on. 1. I spent a weekend trimming trees and put up a high seat on my permission. Filmed it for weeks with my trail cam. Picked out a day to go down, walking down, gun over my shoulder to get to my seat and I bump a deer about 20 yards in front of me. Just runs off lol 2. After about hour n half sat in the seat on a different day, a deer emerges into the opening I cleared out. It's about 75 yards away and I move the rifle to line it up and the bugger sees me move n vanishes. 3. Been down this permission now a few -
Dont Throw Sticks Into Water For Your Dog.............
Lloyd90 replied to mackem's topic in General Talk
Seen a video where the dogs holding a hog but the river n the fella goes down go stick the hog N crock comes out the water, straight through the fellas legs and grabs his dog, an pulls him back into the water. If I remember right the fella went back back later with his rifles n blew the crocs head off lol ... as I would do n all -
Who's lenny gnash then lads spill the beans Seen plenty of big Ard fellas chopsing off after a few jars soon shite em selves when given a slap. Know plenty of small boxers won't take no shit off dick heads. some of the hardest blokes I know after boxing for years are rough in many ways, but everyone of em is decent enough. Being proper tough and knowing it means you don't go about acting a twat n picking on the weak to me. N anyone who does ain't no hard man they're nothing but a c**t

Pheasant Chicks
Lloyd90 replied to Belgianhunter's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
There called 'specs' and there for cock birds at laying time. Not sure if your still allowed to use them. Yes mate, just found them online. Some are called 'specs' and have coloured lenses, and some are opaque and called 'blinders' it seems. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blinders_%28poultry%29 Why wouldn't they be allowed any more ? -

I saw these things called 'blinders' on a video about phezzies on youtube, like a small clip that stops them seeing forward but they can see at the sides Google them hope I've explained it right -
Raising A Few Phezzies
Lloyd90 replied to Lloyd90's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
None atm mate I'm not in a position to raise any for now it's still a topic that interests me and maybe something I'd like to try my hand at in the future. Perhaps around 50 if I give it a go -
Don't rush the young un or you'll be sorry.
