pink is one thing, but i'm more worried about a man driving a fiat 500, that's just gay on both accounts, lol
  2. hi, i appreciate what your saying and with all dew respect, this is the hassle we are trying to avoid, all people want to do is take a pic and share it, its not just me others have said that they are not bothering no more as its a hassle, cant the size be made bigger from who runs the site? but thanks for explaining it tho.
  3. same here mate, i use to put pics up using a cheap old camera, but now ive got a better one it always says its to big, so i tend to not bother now. it would be so nice to just take a pic and post it on here, like you do with emails.! tilly
  4. i know what you mean mate, its the same with mine, its a shame really as every one likes to share photos, tilly
  5. to the mods, this is not a complaint, just a curious question, when trying to post a pic on here it says its to big, couldnt you raise the size of the pics from your end to make things easier? so we could just post as and when with out having to size them down, or doesnt it work like that, i cant even post pics from my phone on here, i have no idea how it all works or whats involved, like i said im not complaining its just a question, thats all. tilly
  6. we've got a foot of snow here, and an hour away from us it is a lot lot deeper, good for the winter sports, its the light dry fluffy snow at the minute so you cant make a snowball, its -13 with a wind chill of -19, tilly
  7. yeah he should lose his passport, smuggling is smuggling what ever it is,
  8. i know mate, you would have thought by now they could get it right, where we used to live they put some metal shaped cows in the middle of a roundabout (god knows why?) and they cost £,000-£100,000 what a waste of good money, and then they built a sports centre with a white tarpaulin roof, which costs £100 of thousands which needs renewing every so many years the funny thing is not a lot of people use it, its built in the wrong place, and if i applied for planning for the same roof they would turn it down for not in keeping with the area, and yet you can see it from miles away lol, its all
  9. where you living now mate .? we moved over the pond to Canada mate, back in may last year, and its going really well, tilly
  10. when we lived in England it always amazed us how an inch of snow fell and the country came to a stand still......schools, collages, roads all closed, it might of been better if the councils stopped lining there pockets with big wages and put the money into winter funds instead, there a joke, we've had snow here for weeks with more to come and from day one nothing stopped going, the gritters and ploughs were straight out, last week it was -25 with a chill factor of -30+, and still it all keeps going, so it goes to show you when England has got an inch of snow and its -????? temperature and mos

  13. hi, i think its nice, doing what your going to do, my dad has a wild pond also in clay ground, which is well established now, its got nice bull rushes, reeds, hawthorn trees hanging over it, bramble bushes at one end, weed, and long grass hanging over the sides, its about 35 ft x 15 ft, tear shape, its that shape because the land falls to wear the pond sits with a natural gully to the narrow end with a very shallow entry, then it slops down to 3 - 4 ft deep with an island in the middle, theirs all sorts of things living in it, frogs, bugs, slow worms, grass snakes, mice, insects, etc, but no fis

    Ravens

there are ravens at the tower of London, and the legend goes, that if the ravens ever leave the tower, the united kingdom will fall, there has to be at least six ravens there all of the time, they have got a raven master there who feeds them daily, meat, and also there bird biscuits soaked in blood, these are very intelligent birds,..... "why would they want to leave"....lol

    Ravens

hi mate, there quite rare there because there all over here, lol (Canada) we've seen a lot now, were crows have the tendency to flap there wings when in flight, the raven mostly soars, probably due to its size, but you cant shoot ravens on public land here, but you can shoot then on private land with the land owners permission, the farmers here seem to have problems with the ravens, crows, and magpies, trying to peck out the eyes of the new born calves, fallow deer, etc, so they tend to shoot them all the time, tilly
  16. i saw that interview too, and i thought her voice was ok, better now than it was a few years back, with her being born in the east end of London she didn't stand much chance of being anything other than a cockney, i personally think she is a brilliant singer/song writer, which shows as when she brings an album out, it sells in record time, and also she has a very good business mind along side her singing career, which also brings her in millions of pounds as well, not bad for a cockney girl ! but each to there own.
  17. Hi, I'm a fellow pipe smoker, I've been smoking a pipe now on and off for the past 4-5 years, back then I just fancied one, it then started when my wife bought me a Peterson pipe, the Sherlock Holmes type,..... lol,... as I was only used to smoked rollies, I found it to be a bit to heavy when you held it in your teeth, so what I did was to make up a pipe that suited me by buying a smaller bowl from one shop, and then a shorter stem form another, so now I have a short stubby one that's not to heavy when holding it with my teeth, and it goes straight out, instead of being crooked down, I have a
  18. as your having a warm winter will probably mean you will have a not so good summer lol,
  19. i know mate, you would have thought you was asking a hard question by the way some have answered you, you asked a very simple question, "whats the best .22 gun (pcp multi shot) straight out of the box" you didnt even mention a spring, and you still get the numpy's telling you about them, anyway, you wont go wrong with a hw100 in what ever version you prefer,i had a air arms s410 carbine in .177 off a guy (he only had it a month or two) which had nothing done to it, so you could say that it was straight out of the box and it was so accurate, pellet on pellet, also i had the bsa ultra se again i
  20. well done mate, its nice to hear when things go right, they are very good guns, very accurate, he will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. tilly
  21. My wife's father served his time in the Canadian Army back in 1938 during WW2, he had some Gurkha mates whilst being in there, they called everyone Johnny for some reason, and one time he asked them if they could bring him back a certain pistol from the enemies camp, they said sure, so when they met up after a while the Gurkha gave my father in law a bag to which he thought was the pistol he wanted, but no, when he opened the bag it was full of human ears, that was his present from them, lol, on another occasion my father in law witnessed a bet between the Commanding Officer of the Gurkha and
