For Sale 2004 Aprilia Rsv Mille R Race/track Bike With V5
tillylamp replied to gazandjen's topic in Vehicles & Quads
hi there, nice looking bike you have, not trying to hamper your sale and no offence meant, but are you sure its a mille r, and not a mille, only the mille r had the ohlins forks with bigger radials with brembo brake calibre's, ohlins rear shock, and light weight oz wheels, like I said im not trying to dampen any thing, its just my observation as I really like these bikes, tl -
hi, I don't use my spring air rifles any more they just sit in the cupboard, as I only use my pcp now, for me personally I have no reason to go back to the spring, I just love the pcp's, a pcp has so much more quality's over the spring now, there quitter, quicker to load between shots, 10 shot mags, smaller gun, bolt action, no recoil, and so accurate, its a no brainer for me, I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me over this, as to keep up the good shooting with the spring, but when they switched to the pcp I've never looked back. tl

hi, I used to do a lot of grass cutting for a living when I was landscape gardening, I found that the Honda had a good engine but they were very heavy and a bit on the clumsy side, all I ever used was the hayter harrier professional, which have a roller, for leaving nice stripes on the lawn, one of these for your personal garden would be ideal and last a lifetime as they are very reliable and easy to work on, with a cylinder mower, you get a better conditioned lawn but the draw back is it dosent always cut the daisy stems or strands, along with this the lawn would need to be relatively l

my brother moves to Calgary this year, permenantly. Lol I've told him to get me a months worth of the most varied hunting and fishing he can get sorted and I'll be using all my holidays at once That's good news about your brother going to Calgary. Out of interest what part of Calgary is he going to? The cut off point for NZ is 55 if you are going for permanent residency with a recognised trade, but you can go older than this, more like retirement age if you can show that you can support yourself for the rest of your days. I know this because when I went for my medical for my

Hello Peeps, Mrs Tillylamp here ! It really depends on what you want out of life. Being a Canadian, obviously I am bias. Having said that, when we came to the UK we were only staying as a stop over because my family were headed for NZ. The stop over lasted for over 40 years LOL. My family have since moved back to Canada. Not all of Canada is plagued with snow. It depends where you go. I am from Vancouver Island and they have some pretty hot weather in the summer, which people tend to forget. Was there in May last year and it was 32c. Mr Tillylamp and me are headed back pretty soon

hi, to be honest, I've never heard of anyone taking the air cylinder off for storing an air rifle for any length of time, all I have ever done....(if I'm not going to be using it for a while)...is fill the gun up to its recommended full poundage and leave it sitting in the cupboard, if all the seals are good it should stay full for many months at a time, mine does, as mine was a AA s410 I wouldn't have thought it would be any different for a hw100 or any other make, I think you would be fine if you decided to do it this way. thanks tilly

ok mate thanks for that, I will have a search around and see what I can find,

a little while ago I made my own nv which is working good, but my question is, what do I need for the t20 ir illuminator to stop the rats seeing it? also is there some thing similar to cover the screen on the camcorder to stop the glare? any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance tillylamp.

hi mate, you can use practically any thing with them, they are greedy, like you say, chocolate is one, then there's ham, cold turkey, cat/dog food, peanut butter, jam...........anything normally attracts them, you could always put the rest of your fishing tackle down they seem to like that, lol, no only joking!! jokes aside, anything really works, good luck tl

hi Maxwell, when you say that there are a couple of mods that can be done to the t67 to make them better I don't suppose you know what they are do you, I would be interested to know,? thanks tl
-
hi relic2, ive got the t20 ir illuminator for my nv on top of the scope, which works well for me, I have also got the t67, in white beam, which I bought as a bundle and you get the torch, 2 batteries, charger, scope clamp, pad switch, for £78 from night-scout, It is a brilliant torch for the money, I would say I can see a good 100 yards of clear vision with the naked eye when its zoomed out, as I don't do go lamping I don't know what length of beam you need but it does give a clear view at that range, if you do buy one, don't let the batteries die right out and then charge them back up as th

hi treecreeper, I opted for a camcorder attached to my scope with a t20 ir illuminator light on top of the scope, that's it really, quite simple, but I did enjoy making it all come together, it works ok and only cost £100, here it is, (don't laugh ha ha)
-
hi, thanks for all your views about it, much appreciated, I have opted for the do it yourself version to see how I get on, I have it all up and running now and if I get on with it I will upgrade it to a better one later on, thanks, tl

hi, im selling my hw35k .177, its in good condition but it does have a few marks underneath the butt end where I rested it on a hard support but nothing serious, its been fitted with a new v-mach kit and is running around 11.6fp, it also comes with a spare .22 barrel, it does not come with a scope, or silencer, but it does come with a silencer adapter with a 1/2 inch thread, also has a gun slip, its a good gun, powerful and accurate, £200 im in the kent area

hi, sorry phil and joe, I sent my father-in-law an email for some more info on his dog Mac, but unfortunately he couldn't remember to much as he is now 93 years old and when he had Mac he was in his late 20's, all the info that I posted with the pic was from my wife's memory of her conversation with her dad. he has had quite a few dogs over the years but really only remembers the later ones more, but he did say that he was a big dog though, I would have liked to find out some more specific info for my self as well but if he couldn't remember, that fine with me, thank tl
-
hi phil, and joe, I will try and find out some more info on his dog, he lives in Canada and I will email him thanks tl

hi, this is a picture from the 1950's of my father-in-laws dog "Mac" he was in moult. he was a Canadian Timberwolf x Alsatian, he was a docile dog and very obedient, he was just the family pet, he was raised with a toddler around and showed no aggression, he saved it when it was a young pup from being destroyed and it grew up to be a beautiful dog.
