If your ever up this way or fancy a days quadding in the bush, let me know. We have some of the best hunting and fishing in the world. Good luck with your journey. hi mate, that's jolly decent of you and if i do get to go up that way i will look you up, where are you at? tilly.

  3. hi mack, i'm looking forward to the ice fishing trip with my mate, he can teach me, and take me to the right places, i think he's got the gear for on the ice, i like going to canadian-tire stores especially if you go to the big ones, they have so much different gear it's unreal, you can go and buy a gun, collect the ammo of the self, get your fishing gear, buy spares for your car, and whilst your doing all that there changing all your tires as well, unbelievable, most people go off to the crown land after work on a friday just to get away with there trailers or fifth wheeler, and come back sund
  4. thanks mate, it does take alot of guts to move away from where you have lived all your life, the hardest part was leaving my family and friends, but now we have settled ourselves it has made things easier, i do phone my dad/brothers/friends quite often which does help, at the end of this month we will have been here 6 months, the home sickness went after 2-3 months and we feel great right now, the thing is,here, you have so much more freedom, not just hunting/fishing but in general, here you have got what is called (crown land) which is owned by our queen and you can take a motorcross bike/qua
  5. ha ha mate, the funny thing is i still keep doing it, only because a lot of things here are much cheaper than back home, you just get so much more for your money here. tilly
  6. hi gaz, i know it sounds odd but i haven't looked into the hunting to much as we've had to get the settling in all sorted, what with my mates marriage not going to well so we had to find our own place, i have found some time for some fishing as my mates were going quite a bit, there are loads of canadian geese and ducks around now as all the fields have been harvested, so i wouldn't mind a bit of that, your probably better off asking mackem he seems to ask the right people about it where as im a bit of the shy type lol, i will be finding out eventually, ive got plenty of time. tilly

  8. hi mackem, i know, the country never ceases to amaze you, there's always some thing around the corner, over the winter im going ice fishing with a mate, ive been fishing quite a bit since ive been here and in bc on different lakes and rivers, and when i was working in yellowknife in the nwt i fished a lake called the great slave lake, its huge i mean huge, its 290 miles long, and 126 miles at the widest point, and 614 meters deep, amazing views and bold eagles flying over head, buffalo's along side the roads, i was told by a bloke that you dont bib your horn at them, i said why not, and he sai
  9. Oh bugger, I'll have to cancel the pistols at dawn now I totally agree with you on Pedrosa always the bridesmaid and never the bride. The one I had high hopes for was Marco Simoncelli but fortunately he was taken far too soon. I thought he had what it took to be a world champion one day. When I was racing and on my road bikes I carried his number 58 as a mark of respect to a gone too soon rider.
  10. i agree with most other posts you have made in the past.....but not this one.....if you watch the slow-mo on youtube you can clearly see the foot is right level with the handle bar/brake lever, his foot probably hit in that area of the brake lever, when you say that you wouldn't put it past him to hit his own front brake on purpose....why on earth would he want to that? in all the years of watching racing have you ever seen another rider deliberately crash there bike to get the other rider in trouble? He has nothing to lose. I'm not saying he did, just that I wouldn't put it past him
  11. yeah the others are, marquez, pedrosa, and the one and only lorenzo, i hope marquez keeps the gaylord back so lorenzo takes the world tittle. C'mon lorenzo

  13. what is wrong with these people, absolute scum.
  14. what i thought looked funny was when tyson was huffing and puffing whilst he was doing the weight and then when he had finished the old boy took the weight off him and walked through the gym with it in one hand, lol
  15. like someone else said store it with the lid off, you can use bicarbonate soda or as my wife does, puts a dishwasher tablet in it, either way leave it over night rinse in the morning.
  16. it was clearly a kick that pulled marquez down, you see rossi look at him three times which makes him drift into marc and then came the kick, when you said you would like to see if someone could kick over a 1000cc bike while riding another, in the same scenario if you were both leaning over, the weight is all transferred down one side of the bike, and a nudge/kick to the handle bar/front brake end would easily tip the bike under, its like a lot of things in life.....timing is the key.

  18. Not with someone with the talent of Marquez. How many did he win in a row last year? 10 or was it 11 !! His achievements in a short space of time in MotoGP Premier Class should make him the most successful rider ever. Still only 22 years old ! Makes you wonder how many more records he will break in the future. Tilly
  19. ive had quite a few different kind of flasks over the years, but the one i have stuck with is called Aladdin, they keep tea/coffee hot all day and last a long time, i picked it up years ago from a game fair for £15.99 and i still use it to this day. tilly
  20. yeah ive just read it and it seems to me that rossi is spitting his dummy out of the pram, almost like " if you put me at the back im not going to ride the last race" so na, its all tactical to get the decision over turned or lessened, he didn't do him self any favours by amitting to want annoy him, talk about digging a hole for yourself, but it's a good job for rossi and lorenso that marquez has had 6 non finishes or he would have whooped there arses for the third year in a row,
  21. i wouldn't have thought there's much truth in that, i don't think he would throw a possible 25 points away, when you say it's a pity marquez got involved, i wouldn't say involved as much as they all race to win what ever position they are in the championship, because it only takes the leader of the tables to come off and break an ankle, wrist, collarbone etc, and that leaves the door wide open for the one who thought it was all over, suddenly he's in with a chance as he's been scoring good points, i wouldn't mine if lorenzo wins, i dont mind him.
  22. Rossi is in a title battle with his teammate Lorenzo. Rossi accused Marquez of trying to hinder him in some races, silly thing to do because he put Marquez's back up. His accusations came true at Sepang and Rossi kicked out at Marquez who fell off. Rossi has to start at the back of the grid and Lorenzo is an ace there, Rossi's title chances are slim to none.I personally think it was Marquez leaning into Rossi and Rossi pushed him away.https://youtu.be/5CnafvuTyFo i think the same but rossi did push him out wide a gave marquez no where to go mind you there is no one who plays mind gam
  23. i suppose you would get unwanted attention back home as you cant dock a tail let alone its ears, but i don't think i would have it done from choice. but i am getting use to the look now.
  24. we dont get the motogp here, whats happened for rossi to be starting at the back? and why has marc got up every ones nose? tilly,
  25. hi mickey the place were we are is a lovely area, but there are pit bulls all over canada, the two down the lane are guard dogs with the looks to go with it, but a pit bull here is also an every day pet were ever you live, More pit bulls than labs down here that's for sure. Are you ready for the winter? i'm nearly there mickey, i have just put some good tires on my misses truck, i've got to change my semi slicks for a good set, then anti freeze my motor, it has been really warm here, you could still wear shorts and t shirts in the day time, last week it was 19-20 degrees, but they h
