mates!!....we've all got them, i'm not talking about your mates that are there at a drop of a hat to help you out when you need them, i'm talking about the unreliable ones! the ones that tell you what you want here, iv'e got a few of them, like when you bump into them when your out and there parting words are, "will have to pop round and see you" but never do, or the ones you arrange to meet at 7.00 o clock, but they don't turn up until 8.00 o clock, when you say to them "that's a funny 7.00 o clock" they say "oh am i late" .........grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! the ones you can't get hold of when you

Banff national park is one of the most stunning places to visit, sheer natural beauty right in the heart of the rocky mountains, going through the Banff town still has the western looks but with a modern twist, if that makes sense, if you put banff in your computer then click on the images you can see how stunning the place is, and all the things you can do there, also the wild life that's there, seeing the pictures is one thing, but actually standing where the picture was taken is another thing, my wife and i were so overwhelmed be there all we kept saying was wow.....look at that.....wow....

i'm not sure if Jeremy wade did this lake as no one has ever got to catch this thing to defiantly answer what it is, it was only a few weeks ago on the tv about another sighting,? with that the marine scientist were back out there with all the echo sonars fishfinders and still nothing to report, it's crazy how your knee deep over the east side in snow and i'm sitting in the garden in brilliant warm sunshine on the west side in a t shirt.....lol

that must have come as a shock when your wife moved the goal posts at the last minute, you must have been gutted, but i suppose in the long run she wouldn't have been happy here leaving her folks behind, i'm surprised she doesn't think its a country for women, the women here join in as much as the men do,more than back home i think, work, sport, fishing, hunting, driving big trucks, all sorts, if you was talking about going to Dubai i could see what she meant.....lol they have the Calgary stampede here and its a massive event, we didn't get to go last year, to busy with other things, but to b

its like most things when you get older, things stop working,or get weaker, also you can become less tolerant to some food or drinks, i use to get up for a wee in the night, but now i'm ok, with me it was caffeine to close to bed time,i use to be ok drinking it before going to bed,but not now, or a beer, make your last drink of the evening a good few hours before going to bed, if that helps, good, also it could be your prostate, they say, you should get a prostate checked when you turn 50 years old, i know most men find that kinda thing a bit embarrassing, including me, but better safe than sor

hi mack, it does feel good being here, every thing you said in your post is spot on, other bonuses are, when you buy a car for example, you get a pink slip with the info, you then take it to a registry offices (there dotted all around the area) you pay for the registry, they then give you your number plate, you buy 1 or 2 years road tax, stick the tax sticker on your plate and that's it, done, same with your driving licence (same place) hand in yours, you get given a temporary one, that's it, not like dvla at home, what was annoying that bugged me, they took my motorbike category off my licence,

good to here your having a holiday here mate, you will love it, you wont want to go back home, i couldn't point you in the right direction for Vancouver but i would expect its the same as most places you just buy a fishing licence and pretty much fish anywhere, if you go to a cabella's store you can pick up a fishing guide as to where the lakes/rivers are, and what your allowed to fish for, the guys there will tell you what to use as bait/lure,they are really friendly people, even drew me a map to help, i fished Vancouver island BC, Yellowknife NWT, (obviously different licences), in BC renti

People are geared up for the cold here mate,we had a really heavy snowstorm on Tuesday,Wednesday morning the highways were cleared, and private citizens were clearing side roads with their dodge Rams with snowploughs mounted on the front,or big snow blowing machines,we passed a few snow drifts earlier that must be 12 feet tall. When the ice is thick enough on the canal to skate into the city it's announced on TV,it's an arterial route from the outskirts right into the city centre, they just bang on a pair of skates and head to the office or into town shopping. talking of snow drifts, our mate we
